Pretty straight forward equipment

This USB / Serial adaptor did the trick just fine on Windows 7 64 bit. For the driver I matched the PCI ID to get an OEM driver for the chipset used I the adaptor. Works great with Putty!

This cable works with Windows & linux
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.And amazingly enough I was even able to get it to work through a windows virtual host with a linux guest inside - worked for controlling network gear using the serial console port. Very established chipset works really well with CentOS.
