We would use the wrong USB adapter and burn it up due to being for a different device with a lower amp draw. This eliminates the need for the adapter and works great. And at half the price of just one outlet at other stores. The only thing I do not like is the child safety feature in the 110v plugs because it requires a little more force when plugging something in. But that’s a great thing when you have kids around so it is what it is. I recommend these to anyone who may be in the market for them.

The USB part works well. The safety aspect of the plug is not desirable in my application as it makes it hard to plug in regular AC cords. The plug is designed that way but I did not realize it until I began the installation. That "feature" makes more sense in a public place but is somewhat inconvenient at home where I am frequently plugging in various cords. Installation was straight forward. The wall plates that come with it are very large. I had to buy a standard wall plate for one of them as it was close to a piece of trim. Finally, note that this is the older version of the product. Apparently the newer one has 50% more USB power which might be needed to charge two higher capacity devices at speed.

Placed near bed. Can use plugs for clock and lamp and also charge 2 iphones at night. Bought as deal of the day and great value for the price

Works great for what they are. Wish there was more amperage on the usb ports. Install was easy, but may be thicker than existing wall outlets. Has worked well since installation.

these are a good alternative to the expensive replacements. Put them around the house, very convenient! Got em on deal of day so a great price!

The USB ports work great, fast charge phones, etc. But the outlets are a little tough to push in sometimes and if you have a small box/space where the old outlet was these will not fit as they are much deeper then a regular outlet.

Awesome deal!! I picked these up for half price on the deal of the day. I ordered 4 of these, 2 for our home and 2 for our beach condo. These are easy to install and work great.

Installation was a snap. Charges devices as good as my regular "brick" chargers. The safety mechanism that covers the 110V outlets are a little finicky. Took a bit of effort to plug in my kitchen appliances. Overall happy with the product.

Easy to install. Good price...$15 for two usb outlets. Worth the money and highly recommend to anyone looking to upgrade wall outlets.

A must replacement for your kids room. Every electronic they own plugs into the USB port. It should come w 4 slots

i bought when it was deal of day. One thing i can tell you, now we have 4.2 A which is better than this. But with the price i bought it, its not bad at all. At least it is working well and doing the job for which it is.

You need a large outlet box for these. BUt that is true of all these units. Overall good for the price. They do the job as any outlet would.

Easy to install! Took my old socket out and put this one one. Just had to shorten up the wiring, but otherwise great fit and works 100% well!

This was a great purchase. Both units Installed easily. Now I no longer need to fuss with adapters that are always breaking.
