Great product that is easy to use and compatible with many other pc And computers.

My external HDD broke and I needed a new case that would support the old HDD. The product was readily available at BB and was super easy to assemble.

I used this enclosure to be able to utilize my old hard drive with my computer so I could much more easily transfer data. A tremendous time saver.

I had an operating system failure. I needed to get my files off the hard drive in my laptop and transfer them to my other hard drive. I used another computer to store my files on until I could get everything back up and running. I was able to access my hard drive with this enclosure and save all my important files and settings. I have been wanting to get one for a long time, but now.....I know I will use it more than just this once. This is a very worthwhile purchase for anyone that does any of their own trouble shooting or replacement of drives.

This product did exactly what it says it will do and it is pretty easy to use. No complex instructions to deal with. Solid value for the price.

I bought this to transfer hard drive data from my macbook that died after a spilled a drink on it. It was very easy to use since it just plugs into the USB port. For some reason, it didn't work with my new macbook pro (would disconnect drive for no reason at all), but it worked great with my older one (yes, I have 3). This works flawlessly to remove a laptop HDD and transfer data from it to another drive. If you have killed your computer like I have, you can remove your laptop hard drive and use this as a portable external hard drive.

I think this is a great product for the price you g0 pair your laptop restore your multimedia images files and that's just awesome product

I bought this because my MacBook pro died and I needed to save my date instead of spending hundreds of dollars to get it recovered by a "professional". I found my MacBook Pro internal hard drive did not fit inside the case.

Good way to use your hard drive from an old laptop.

Very simple to use and install. The price was great.

My laptop had crashed and I needed to retrieve the data on the hard drive. It was simple to remove the hard drive and insert it into the enclosure and connect it to another laptop. Using Windows 7 the directory popped up immediately and I was able to transfer the data to a flash drive. The additional bonus is that I now have a an external hard drive to use for backup instead of discarding it. I had excellent help and advice from the Best Buy sales representative.

When I upgraded my MacBook Pro to a solid drive, I needed an enclosure to put my old in to facilitate the data migration. Since my MacBook Pro original hard drive had a faster spindle speed than my old backup device, the enclosure allows me to use my old drive (after formatting) as a backup and I no longer have a backup that needs to be connected to a power source! Fewer cables and faster backups. Additionally the enclosure was on the shelf at my local Best Buy.
