However, unless you're going to be running an HDMI cable over a very long distance (25ft or more) or are afraid that even the slightest artifact will cause you to be beheaded by your "thinks he knows everything about everything" tech friend, this is all you need. Don't get suckered into thinking that you're not going to get the best picture possible unless you have 24K gold connectors and quadruple shielded wiring. None of those things are necessary for the average consumer. Believe me, you won't be able to tell the difference between this cable and a similar cable that sells for three to four times the price. Save your money and upgrade other things that actually matter.
