Most egregious is the power cord- very chancy connection and problem is definitely with the female socket. It is loose and connection subject to vibrations as weak as walking thru room!! Do NOT buy this. Will return it at my convenience!

I could have tried my luck at Amazon and they would have taken ti back and refunded me. I am not sure what Bestbuy will do but it will determine fi I buy anything from them again.

It works as advertised and automatically switches between the devices based on what I turn on, which saves me the trouble of having to switch the devices myself since my TV only has two HDMI outlets, one for the tv and one for whatever game console I want to play. I'm getting a new tv soon and if that an HDMI switch, I would get this one again.

I have had no issues with the way it works. The only issue I have with it, is that it takes up a little to much space.
