The jury is out on this, i'm disappointed that the voice is out of sync and my TV is a Sony Bravia with auto sync. If i turn on both the TV & Home Center Speakers the sound is like a reverberator

It didn't work for my chromecast audio because it needed an adapter in order to use it.

Could not get them to work had to take them back would not recommend

After installing it, the tv just buzzed and I couldn't get it to wirk, so I went back to plug in instead & returned it.

My Sound Bar came with RCA Analog cables and I connected using those. Then I used the Digital Optic Cable (separate purchase) and I could tell immediately a difference in the sound. The Cable is low cost but well worth the small price for what you get. I have no Cons to report at all. Good right out of the box and the easiest set-up of the whole process with HDTV.

This little cable saved me from having to replace my Sony stereo receiver. I am currently using an older but good Sony DVR player with 5.1 RCA outputs & it is going to the 5.1 RCA inputs on my receiver but the inputs on the receiver have had some kind of short causing my front speaker's sound to cut out. I would have to jiggle the wires to get the sound to come back. I decided to try this optical cable, thinking, how could 5.1 sound go through a single cable. All I can say is "Unbelievable!" I am using Polk Audio 5.1 speakers...they're little ones & they have always sounded a bit mid-rangy & tinny for my taste. After using this optical cable, the sound has greatly improved. The sound seems to be more even, richer, and warmer sounding. If you're using RCA cables, ditch them and buy this!

Great Cable for the money. One of the shortest and Cheapest. Dynex is also a great company itself. I used to buy nothing but Monster cable products, however I now realize that Dynex offers the same quality with sometimes more choices (length) and the price is unbeatable. Cheaper cables may be found at discount stores such as walmart and target, however, these cables are usually from off companies never heard of and the quality cannot be trusted. Dynex is the way to go!!! I liked this cable because it was short, I only needed to make a short jump from my Blue Ray player to my 5.1 Surround system. Also, I very much liked that the cable was black. I care very much about my home theater setup and all of my components and cables are black. Monster cable annoys me because every cable that they make depending on what series it is, is a different color. For example, my previouse cable from Monster: I used a 1000HD HDMI cable for my Blue Ray which was black, and only a 500HD HDMI cable for my cable box which was grey. I was not happy with that! Once again, BUY DYNEX. It offers good quality for a good price.

In my opinion, a digital optical cable is a digital optical cable, regardless of the brand. It is transmitting a digital signal over a fiber optic line. Therefore, this optical cable serves its purpose perfectly, and provides very good sound quality. I wasn't thrilled with the price differences between size cables, as fiber optic cable does not cost as much as the amount being transmitted to the consumer, but it is a good cable.

This cable is way better than my twenty dollar cable in every possible way. I couldn't believe how good this cable is especially for the price. I also didn't need any cable longer than 3'-4' so that was a plus.

Shorter size is convenient. Good price, good delivery time. I am confused about another review about the six ft cable only lasting a year, and the reviewer slamming Dynex over "poor quality" and the need to buy a new cable. His cable has a life time warranty. Even with a year warranty on the 4' cable, there isn't much to go wrong with a cable that just sits there , with no moving parts.
