Week for heavy TV's
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cheap price. When i put my 65' TV, and tilted a little bit down, it drops all the way down. It cannot hold the angle. It must be straight. But too late to make more holes in my wall to put a better TV mount up. Yes, it is meant for 65'! But it cannot handle the weight

do not buy
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst mount ever. Don’t waste your time or money. It is SO STIFF you really can’t move it “full motion” it also doesn’t go flat against the wall because it is still stiff. Might be easier on a smaller tv but with a 70 inch it’s impossible. We tried for hours. It also is SO wobbly. Like do not touch it! It wobbles side to side and back and forth no matter how much you tighten it. Will definitely be returning this.

Price is what you get
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn’t notice at first but one of the bolts was damaged. Best Buy wouldn’t send bolts, only could drive to a store for a full replacement (tear down what I’ve started) or mail it in by going to a shipping company. Prepare to buy your own bolts. Heading to a local hardware store instead of to the “helpful” BB.

Doesn’t hold 75”
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy sells this to hold up to 75” but it will not hold a 75” Sony. Had Geek Squad out to install this for $200 but they couldn’t get it to work for my TV and I ended up with holes in my wall. This plus the install and the drywall damage means I’m out hundreds.

Great TV mount for a great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I absolutely love this mount. At first I was hesitant because Dynex. I had never heard of this brand, and my first thought was that it would be flimsy and cheap. I, like you are now, read some of the reviews, then looked at the price again, then read more reviews before taking the plunge. When my order arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how heavy this mount is. Weight doesn't always dictate build quality though, so I unpacked everything and set to mounting my TV to the wall. After installing this, I have continued to be impressed. The installation was straightforward and easy, the motion is fluid, and the mount is rock solid. I am very happy that I purchased this, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone

Spec missing Approx 16" base. Great f/the price!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the price it is great! The only downside is that currantly the specs on web do not list that the length of the base is only approx 16" long which is a doozy if your wall studs are 24" apart (crucial f/ hanging a tv). However, we fashioned a base so that we could anchor it to our studs & it worked for our means! We then painted it the same color of the wall. It is hidden perfectly behind the screen and none would be the wiser! Other products are overpriced & we just can't justify spending well over $100 for a piece of metal. Works great & otherwise very sturdy!

Great TV Mount
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mounted my LG 55" TV using this wall mount, install was easy but i do recommend having 2 people as someone needs to hold it against the wall as you bolt it down. The TV mount does call for a drill bit to make the holes in the studs in the wall and I would also suggest picking up a socket adapter for your drill to make install easier. Other than then it performs great, swivels out and turns to adjust the angel and is hidden behind the TV would diffidently recommend.

Safe, convenient, and effortless!
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has made the position, mobility, and ease of watching tv effortlessly for my disabled son and ill father by 1000%! I can have it up high in the corner of my wall so it fits perfectly above my fire place to complete my living room, and tilted downward and pulled close enough so my wheelchair bound, disabled son can see it perfectly from wherever he is at the time! It is also safely positioned high enough so that my dad who suffers from Dementia and Alzhiemers does not run into, bump, stumble over, or get hurt by any of the corners being that it holds up my 70" right on the corner between the living and dining room!

Solid mount with full adjustability
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Finally mounted TV using this full motion mount. Same mounting principles as any other mount so everything was straight forward other than having to calculate correctly to ensure TV could be centered perfectly in the required space - mount had just enough lateral flexibility to get the job done based on stud locations. Very stable in that I know it will hold the TV. I had to really tighten the tension bolts at the pivot points because I have my sound bar attached to the TV adding more bottom weight so this made the mount a little stiffer and harder to micro-adjust. Otherwise the TV would slide downward on its own from the zero degree north/south viewing angle. Also each time you make an adjustment, you will need to ensure the screen is leveled because it's just hard to make a single micro adjustment without something else moving. I don't intend to move the TV much so once it's in perfect position to my liking it is set it and forget it. Used an in-wall cable management kit from HD so TV looks great outstretched from the wall 5-6" and "floating" in space with no wires/cables in sight.

Pretty darn good for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace one I purchased a while back. The old one never did hold up my older 65 inch TV. This one holds great. I can tilt it up or down, left or right. I can pull it out from the wall. Like I said, my TV is older so it's heavier than usual, this wall mount needs tilted back up a little bit sometimes. Considering my heavy TV this more than exceeded my expectations for the price.

You Get What You Pay For
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an inexpensive TV wall mount, I did not say cheap, it is made of sturdy material and functions as stated in the marketing materials. I find that this mount may work better with older, bulkier televisions. It is stiff and hard to maneuver which makes handling latest model thin LCD TVs' a challenge, pulling on the TV to adjust it takes some effort due to the stiffness of the mount, I have to be extra careful with my LG OLED for fear of damaging it if I pull directly on it move it away from the wall because of the effort needed to pull it away from the wall and move it from side to side. I believe with a heavier TV with more thickness the mount would function and maneuver better. Otherwise, it was straightforward to install (Geeksquad) and came with the needed accessories to install.

Very sturdy and works perfectly.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The instructions call for a two person install and due to it's weight I would definitely recommend following the instructions. However with a little bit of preparation and thinking ahead, it can be installed by one person without too much trouble. That is if you are strong enough and don't mind all of the swear words you'll probably hear. :^). The only reason I did it by myself is that I was to impatient to start watching it and my volunteer helper wouldn't be home from work for another 7 hours. Please wait for help. My install went pretty well but a second pair of hands would have been so much faster and easier. Just so you know, I have over 30yrs of experience in building maintenance and repair and I am used to doing jobs by myself that normally take two or more people. Finally all of that aside, once installed it works perfectly and two of my friends have already bought one for their TV's.

The informative Installer.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PROS: Everything about this mount is simple and easy to install for the most part. of course some construction or handyman experience will make this easier because installation tools are not included and certain tools will make the install much easier. Concrete install; I personally have not done so I can not say if this is also reasonably easy. CONS: The mount is kinda awkward to hold and fasten to the wall with one person. I recommend 2 people to do the install. My biggest complaint is that the Base of the mount does not have an option of extension to facilitate install on a wall with a larger then 16in center stud layout. Though that is rare it does happen. unfortunately I was Forced to install the TV and mount to another wall as the above mentioned problem applied to me. The screws that are the "locking" mechanism that locks the TV rails to the mount are kinda weak in design.

Works well but very tight at first
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have installed a couple TV mounts previously, so I knew more or less the process. This mount was no different and installed relatively easily using a template for marking holes, etc. It is currently holding our 50" TV without any problems and gives us the adjustment angles we were wanting. The only "issue" we had was that initially moving the TV was very difficult and I was worried I was putting too much force on the TV itself as I attempted to position and reposition it. Only after looking more closely through the documentation did I notice some procedures for adjusting the tension of the mount pivot points. Once I loosened these a much as I felt comfortable doing, the TV now moves much easier and all is well.

Solid TV Wall Mount
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This Dynex Full Motion Wall Mount is exactly as advertised. It was easy to install and is very durable. The frame and bar attachments for the TV are solid and sturdy. I don’t see any issues with this mount holding up a TV up to 75”. The package came with a variety of different size screws to fit ones TV. The only real adjustment I had to make was to loosen the hinges where you can pull out or push in the TV from the wall. It was too tight so with a few turns of the screws, now the TV easily glides back and forth from the wall and easily turn to whatever angle is needed.

Dynex full motion wall mount
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to mount my 65" TV in a bookcase. I added a plank of plywood in front of the shelves to create a flat surface for the Dynex wall mount. I bolted the mount to the plywood and hung the TV by myself. It's easier with someone to help but not that hard. TV is heavy but is Dynex is strong enough for probably any TV. Adjusting the level and tilt is done from behind so my wife helped tell me when she liked it. Tilt is adjustable but bolts in place so once it is bolted it stays at that tilt unless you unbolt it. In and out and swivel works easily and feel secure. Great mount for the price. I needed a few extra washers but I had them at home.

Good, but could be better
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is made for a large tv. My only criticism is the portion that mounts on the wall is exactly 17 inches wide. Standard stud spacing in home construction is 16 inch on center. The problem is that studs are sometimes off a bit for one reason or another. We chose to place a 55 inch TV in a high corner of our master bedroom. When we started to install, it was discovered that the studs behind this particular location in the wall were spaced at 17 inches. So being that the mount was only 17 inches wide I could only hit 1 of the studs on one end or the other. Of course this would not hold up the TV. So I had to open the wall to place a reinforcing side stud, then patch the wall and hang the mount. This mount was lister for a 47 to 75 inch TV. My personal opinion is that the wall part of the mount should be at least 20 inches wide. But Other than that, it is a good sturdy mount.

Sturdy & Easy to Install
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this for a 65" LG TV and it was very easy to install. I mounted mine above a fireplace (which we don't use) and there was a stud in the middle of the fireplace, but the 2 outside were 32" apart. I needed to cut a 2x12 to drill into the studs, so I could mount the TV onto the piece of wood. Not the end of the world, but would have been nice to have adjustable brackets or a wider back plate. Also, this is not very easy to swivel which was one of the features that made me go for this product. I feel like I'm going to snap the tv when I try to turn it. It's nice and strong and holds the position you would like the TV to be in, but it would have been nicer if there was a smoother way to adjust the TV. I'm sure it will get easier with time, but it's also nice to know it isn't moving too easily. Overall good purchase, but would probably find one with hydraulic arms next time.
