Unless you are using a camera with a super long lens or want the convenience of a ball head, I don't see the point of spending more on a tripod . My last tripods were similar, and it took violent accidents to break them, This one is even sturdier, especially in the head. It is a little taller, too. One quibble. The level on the head is in the wrong place. You usually want to know if the frame is level side to side. The head has a handle because you aim the head up or down however you want. The level on the head tells you if you are aiming up or down. Looking at the Internet it is hard to get away from this head design. Fortunately, the legs have a bubble level, too, and it is easy to level the tripod by shortening the legs.

T his 58 inch tripod is great for me and my needs it is great for my video camera and is a nice tripod i recommend this tripod to any one that is looking for one

These Dynex Tripods are a bargan for their cost, they are quick to get setup and simple to adjust.. The quick disconnect for camera or camcorder, makes it fast to install and remove them. It's lite weight makes it easy to carry, not the strongest but with care will last a long time. Also there are level sight glass's for adjusting if needed. Rubber footing keeps it from sliding around on a hard surface.

I use this tripod for doing reviews and it works great for panning! Great quality for the price.

This is a great camera tripod. I love the adjustable height and it connected perfectly to my Nikon digital camera.

This a cheap and sturdy tripod. Good for beginners.
