This is a decent enough shredder for the price. I had a lot of items that I needed to shred and it took me a while so a little patience was needed as I could only shred four sheets at a time, otherwise it was very slow. The shredder is made of plastic (not metal like I thought it would be). I would recommend this for someone that only shreds personal docs here and there, not many docs daily, as it's not a work horse of a shredder!

I'm a little disappointed at how shredding two pieces of paper at once causes the motor to bog down so much. I mean, it does it's job, but it's surprising just how much two pieces of paper slows it down and wears on the motor. Also with use, after shredding, I always have to run it in reverse otherwise paper scraps end up in the shredding teeth and can eventually clog it up.

Needed to clean the apartment and reclaim some space, so I grabbed this shredder, which didn't cost a ton, but got the job done. Only took about six pages at a time, but the shredding was very neat and clean. If you only need something for home, this is perfect. If you're buying a shredder now, chances are that you have a lot of papers to discard, so the first uses may be a little time-consuming. However, afterwards, this shredder will be an even better investment as you may regularly get rid of papers.

Decent shredder for home office - light to medium use. Had this product for about a year .... So far so good.

Good deal for the price. It's able to shred multiple docs and even staples. Nice! It's a bit noisy and while I realize it must make noise to function, there are much quieter models. However, overall... reliable product.

Brought this product for my Mom who had items to be shredded and loves the way it shreds to tiny pieces and it also does credit cards. Easy to pull basket to dispose paper and small enough to store away when not in use

better quality than other shredders with the same specs and price. the credit card slot is a plus. this shredder also gives a nice accent to your room or office!

When I saw 4+ stars and with 6-sheet in the title I thought, perfect! It's not. It works but struggles with just 3 sheets and the blades clog up instantly. We'll see how long it last. The basket doesn't hold much and fills after a few short sessions. It's ok if you don't plan on using it a lot.

Good at shredding the paper, but a little slower than my old shredder (different brand). This one was a good price (on sale), It was a little awkward to remove the top the first time I emptied it because I did not know how to get a good grip on it. Yes I would I buy it again.

shred papers quick! Good deal ! cheap price but work like the expensive one

This Dynex replaced a larger, noisier single shredder. I am very pleased with the differences. The shredder fits snugly on top of the bin, which softens the sound and holds down dust. The clear panel on the front of the bin makes it easy to know when to empty it. The built-in handle makes the top easy to remove. The small footprint makes it unobstrusive. So far this has proven to be ideal for our limited home use.

I bought this shredder on sale and am happy with performance thus far. No problems with jams. Can shred a few pages at a time. It has a slot for shredding old credit cards or the like. No complaints.

Been using it only for a little while, so it does work like it should. A little loud, they all are, but this is definitely louder. Decent prise, works, happy

For a low price point what do you expect. If you have light shredding then this shredder is for you, anything more you should look at something else. 6 sheets (nope more like 1 or 2 at most )
