Not much to say as it works, not too expensive and I don't have to buy a new printer when I went from a PC to Mac laptop. So far so good.

I have an older model HP 4+ Laser Printer that came with a parallel port. This item worked like a charm. I thought that I would have to
get rid of the printer but now I am using it with no problems

My older style printer only had the parallel plug interface. This devise saved me from getting my PC modified or getting a new printer. Once I configured the PC for the correct USB port, the printer just started working as if it were expecting me and waiting for the correct configuration.

I recently got a new computer with Windows 10 but it doesn't have a parallel port to connect my old HP 1200 laser printer. This cable solves the problem. I was worried that leaving my old XP computer would mean I would have to get a new printer. But after connecting with this cable to a USB port it worked without a problem

cord is great about the right length, bad part about the product was the installation instructions. The cable did not come with a driver cd, and the instructions did not allow the cable to interface the computer and printer together. I had to go to another manufactures web site to get instructions that were specific enough to allow me to make the connection and have the printer work properly. Even best buy geeks did not know how to make it work.

I was happy to be able to find the parallel port on one end with the USB on the other. I now am able to utilize an older printer when needed

I purchased this on a lark to see if it would work with my HP LaserJet 6L which is 20 years old! It did, with Windows 10 no less. It took a bit to figure out how to get a driver, but the process worked. A windows supplied, not HP supplied, driver was available and worked!

This cable allowed me to hook up a HP LaserJet printer to a computer without a parallel port. It took a little time finding the drivers for Windows 7, but it worked out OK

With so many newer printers out there, none of which have the old Centronics 36 pin parallel port connector, these cables are becoming a thing of the past. But when you need one, you really need one. BB had them, they work, everything's good.

I bought this because I needed to connect a really old printer to my dad's new desktop. This did not work for some reason. I ended up buying a PCI adaptor instead and that worked.

Keeps the old LPT printers viable. The cable was cheaper than a new laser printer.

It works just fine. However, neither the Windows 7 nor the Windows 8 machines would recognize it. I bought it for my old legacy Cannon BubbleJet which I dearly love. The BubbleJet prints CD labels beautifully and does not use an excessive amount of ink. It is an old printer with a parallel port and no USB port. The newer PCs with Windows 7 and Windows 8 no longer have parallel port connections built into them. So I bought the connector with a USB connection on one end for the PC and a parallel port connection on the other end for the printer. Both operating systems included the printer model in their internal lists, but neither one would print to it after selecting the printer. The problem is the parallel port, not the printer. I tried telling the operating systems to recognize the parallel device on LPT2, but it did not work. Maybe there is another trick that I missed. ???? I have no idea why they list the printer if it will not work on their operating system. The printer will always have a parallel port. I ended up dragging out my old legacy XP machine and I used the connector with that. It is working fine.

Purchased for a family member with a parallel Laser printer. Their new computer didn't have a parallel port so this was a cheaper option than buying a new printer.
