    Unfortunately the plug end of the cable would not insert fully into my iPod with an Otterbox case on. I'm sure without the case it was under have been perfect. Had to be returned.

    I used this cable to connect my new HDMI TV back to my old surround sound system which does not have HDMI connections. It allows me to use my old surround sound system with newer equipment that would not otherwise connect to the old connection types. Make sure your TV has an audio output jack if you plan on doing this.

    Honestly, had I realized wat I was buying, I wouldn't hav. But ONLY bc I had like 6-8 of them at home already. But it's always nice 2 hav extras. Lol! I like that I can use 2 listen 2 my iPhone on my sound bar now in the living room. Stereo not hooked up (2 complicatd) so this comes in very handy !

    The Sonos sound bar was an excellent addition to the Smart TV. The TV speakers were not so good, so adding the sound bar allowed me to only use the external speakers and sound is now excellent. Easy to program the Cable Remote to control the volume of the soundbar as well as everything else.

    The salesman at best buy recommended we purchase this with a soundbar and plug it into the earphone jack of the t.v.. This way we could use the t.v. remote and not the remote specific to the soundbar - works great - especially for my 82 year old mother.
