    I purchased this not noticing that as it is a passive adapter, it is limited to 1920x1080p. It worked perfectly for that but I needed an active adapter to push 3840x1080

    This converter was very useful, when my wife picked up a slightly older flat screen monitor. It did not come with HDMI to this was a cheap fix for the issue.
