In my case this is an adapter for some test equipment that I used all over the place in the field. Its one really problem is it is very very black. And it you drop it or are using it behind equipment it really is hard to see. Really have to find a way to add color to it.

Super cheap for being available locally. Needed this when COVID hit and we got put on work from home. Local store had it and picked up within an hour for $10.00. Does what is needs to do.

Worked well , I had tried another brand and while it worked the display viewing was poor. This have better hdmi viewing that was clear and more true to hdmi direct viewing.

I bought this to have an extra monitor, so I hooked it up from my desktop display port to the HDMI on the TV and the other monitor by VGA. Works good, I can play videos in one monitor while I can work on the other.

Before purchasing this product, I tried to use a displayport to hdmi cable, but that cable was not able to carry the signal from computer to monitor. I tried this product and worked perfectly!

Have an HP laptop for work. For some reason HP’s have a display port instead of an HDMI port. Connected it up and it worked with the HDMI cord from my monitor. No special setup or software needed.

I needed a converter to allow my Lenovo docking station DisplayPort output to connect to an HP 1080 monitor with HDMI input. This converter did the trick and was quite reasonably priced. I recommend it for this purpose!

Guys, if you have Dell computers or HP's. You need these adapters in your desk and back pack. They have saved me numerous times, and it seems to work without suffering picture quality.

My docking port was out of hdmi ports. This adaptor allowed me to connect my 2nd monitor to the docking station without another port, it connects via USB. Perfect monitor connectivity.
