    Needed a DVI output from video card so I could use a dual monitor setup at work for CAD, but unfortunately the only monitor lying around needed VGA...ran to Best Buy and got this adapter and it was plug and play from there. No problems since.

    Newer computer would not connect to projector because they use usb for monitors now. This took care of problem

    its cheap converts dvi to vgi Display is good no difference between DVI and VGI

    It's a cable adapter... 'nuff said! But really, my new computer only had DVI out for the monitor. And even though my monitor accepted both DVI and VGA I already had the VGA cable. I could have either, purchased a DVI cable or this adapter. Got the adapter, and it works fine.

    I had a difficult time finding an adapter for my old computer monitor, and asked one of the Best Buy guys and he lead me right to it and it worked very happy I don't have to go out and buy a new monitor so soon. That will be my next purchase :)

    We bought a new monitor and video card for Christmas but did not know the connections were different. Once we had the adapter, the two connected easily and my son was on his way to better gaming capabilities.

    Does exactly what it's supposed to do, no muss or fuss. Now if only there were a female-to-male adapter, I could eliminate one other glitchy connector in my Mac to projector signal path.
