This was the second adapter we tried. There are many different types of DVI ports, so please research this correctly before purchasing.

This product did not help me as I had a dvi i and did not know there Was a difference.

I used this adapter alongside another VGA input on my tower and the plastic molded around the actual components took up so much space I couldn't plug both in at once. I ended up cutting a hunk of plastic out of this adapter to be able to plug both in. It was annoying.

Not valuable, good connection, … No more comment....

Great for attaching your mac to a VGA source, such as an external monitor, LCD projector, etc. Apple makes one with a short cable, and the cable shorts out in a couple of months. This one has no bendable parts, so no shorts. GREAT IDEA. Note: this is a Male DVI to Female VGA adaptor. To use with a VGA source, you will need the Male/Male VGA cable that comes standard with all LCD projection systems.

Price was right, plugged it in to the computer and plugged the monitor cable into the converter and it worked! What more can you ask for!

I was concerned after reading a review about extra pins.... So I asked a Best Buy Associate: The pins are desined to push into the device if there are any extra, so for those extra pins in the middle, don't worry and just connect to the device. This worked perfectly, and the device works perfect.

I got this to connect an old VGA monitor alongside my 24' DVI monitor to help productivity. I have a graphics card with two DVI slots. The product works fine, but the base on the DVI side is too wide, and rubs up against my primary monitor's DVI connection. This makes it impossible to screw the adaptor into the DVI female, and I constantly lose the signal because I cant push it in all the way. Considering this product is used with computer hardware, where spacing can get very tight, I think it was a major oversight for Dynex to give this adaptor such a wide base. My solution is to shave it down with a knife, but come on Dynex. Take these things into consideration.

exactly what i needed to run dual monitors. Does exactly what it says it does.

Needed to convert a DVI cable to HDMI, and this worked perfect for that purpose. Was able to add a fourth monitor with the use of this adapter and it works great with my laptop

Great adapter at a great price! Much cheaper then most other adapters.

The product works, but it is important to know that the vga end is female and the dvi end is male.

I got this and was as described and just what I expected and very satisfied with the purchase. But my PC 27in is only digital and this adapter is for analog. Great brand name
