Needed a replacement antenna since the metal one snapped in half. I like that there’s nothing sticking out and that it fits neatly behind the tv. Also glad I caught it on sale!

I use it for my other tv so far channels are sharp,take like 60 channels I put it on my wall good buy

Find it very hard to receive many channels with this antenna despite living in a metropolitan area. Have to put the unit in a window, move it around and cross my fingers for good weather.

Have been dreaming of cutting the cord on cable for a while. Started with one of our extra tvs. Set up of the antenna took 5 minutes. Programming the tv took some time but when finished, I was AMAZED to see a clear picture!!! I am able to receive all of the major networks, except ABC (still trying to figure that out). For 8.99, I am thrilled to have free tv!! Four stars instead of five because: open box arrived with no instructions and price tag on box was $7.99. I paid $8.99 when ordered.

Got this as an Open Box-Excellent deal for $8 and I can pick up 7 channels: ABC, NBC, FOX, Ion, CW, MeTV and Bounce. I only wanted the 3 main network channels as I already have CBS streaming service, so this meets my needs perfectly and at an amazing price. The antenna is supposed to have a 25 mile range, and the transmitters I pick up are only 5 miles away and fortunately in the direction that the window behind my TV faces (almost due south, in my case). You can check what channels you can expect to receive by going to the official FCC.gov website, see the section called "dtvmaps". Put in your address or zip code and the map will show you where to point the antenna for maximum effect, and the distances to the transmitters for the channels in your area. If you are geographically challenged you can get a cool compass app on your phone that will indicate the directions. The coax cable is a generous 6 feet, which is more than adequate to reach from the back of my TV to the window nearby. I have this antenna propped between the curtain and the window pane, resting on the sill. The item is small and inconspicuous, and does not have an amplifier or power supply. I could use double-sided tape to mount it to the wall or window pane, but see no need for that at this time. After connecting the cable, I did an automatic channel scan (this is in the TV Menu settings) and five minutes after unboxing, I was viewing these free Over-the-Air (OTA) channels! It's like magic.

had this item for a month now, quality is good, its light weight and has a good signal, this antenna has to be right spot like stick on the window for a better reception, the only thing i dont like with this item is the cord kinda short in able to find a right spot for better reception

This antenna was easy to set up, inexpensive & gets all my local stations. I’m prepared now! We recently survived horrible tornadoes that wiped out entire areas of our city. We got rid of cable & watch everything over the internet on Netflix, Prime etc. During the storms we were desperately searching online to try to find specific “go to the basement now” instructions which you won’t get from national weather. Thankfully my husband found a way to get a local station on his phone & the weatherman told us exactly where tornadoes were touching down. I called family members who had no idea they were in the direct line of a tornado & they were able to go to the basement which saved their lives. I hope our city never faces that devastation again. At least we’ll be a little more prepared in the future.

it works as i needed. i have a tv on a room that does not have cable. i placed the antenna near an outside wall and it works but it works better on a second floor window.

I bought this antenna because I wanted to see over the air channels on my samsung TV. After connecting the antenna and scanning my TV I was able to get about 25 channels. I'm glad I bought the antenna.

This is one I purchased, luckily at the right price as a Deal of the Day. I am glad I did. This replaced the digital receiver from Comcast that I was paying a monthly fee for. This gives al of the local channels which is fine for my bedroom tv. It was easy to install and then setup with the tv. It has worked flawlessly since. Thank you Best Buy.

The first one i bought like this was defective and would only work with the cord in a certain spot but the second one was even better. It wven picked up channel 5 which my other one didnt. Overall i love this antenna.

My current antenna wasn’t picking up good reception, so I decided to replace it. I found this particular one on sale and it had good ratings, plus was small- not to take a lot of space. So far it’s working well. I get many channels without reception issues.

Very easy to setup and use, but the quality of the reception is very dependent on the weather condition. Works very well when the weather is clear and very poorly when there is clouds or fog.

Antenna was easy to install. The best thing about it is that it deosn't require a power amplifier. Paired it with my Aluratek Converter box to use with my projector for the Superbowl and it met my demands. Little signal los, but it was more my positioning. Once, I fixed it, it worked great.

I live in a suburb of Baltimore and was able to pick up a number of stations from Baltimore and Annapolis - 20 some in total. Getting all the standard network channels for a 1-time fee of around $10 was a win. **Keep in mind that it you live further from a main city that this antenna will likely not be sufficient.** Pay attention to the specified ranges and understand that those are often optimistic.

It works well with the television. I get all the local channels now. Was using rabbit ear antenna before and would occasionally run into it when passing by the tv. Glad those tv viewing issues have been resolved by this antenna.

It's an antenna. It helped to get a few more over-the-air channels. I'm using a signal booster that was not included to help. Perhaps I could be more channels but I'm still playing with it, seeing which direction does the best. In the end it's an antenna.

Decided to ditch cable and wanted some live tv action, so I ordered this. It is so paper thin and lightweight, almost feels like it's not going to work but it does. It was super easy to set up and was able to get the basic local channels and then some.
