My hair is extremely thin. Which stinks but the one benefit is it dries fast. Not with this though....it takes forever. I can't imagine someone with long hair. The main part thougj is the air only comes out the bottom. The hair inside does not get dry by the air. It's almost like it just finally dried by the time it takes you to dry the rest. I absolutely love my other Dyson hair products and I wanted this one so bad, but sadly it's not what I wished for.

Avoid at all cost

Then BB will not switch it out, offer a discount or fix it. The motor that continuously goes out on these is impossible to fix, unless you physically break the buttons on the unit to get the sleeve off.

Boy oh boy was she disappointed the very first time she used it! Her hair got so fluffy and dry! She was also complaining that it was heavy and not easy to use as her hair was blown away from too much air!

It’s large, bulky, awkward to use and very expensive. My wife decided it was too much work so we returned it.

Not for My Hair Type

My hair was very dry and had a strange texture. Might be great for someone with a different hair type, but did not work for me. I will stick with my Dyson dryer and Corrale iron. Does a much better job.

Breaks hair due to excessive heat and pulling

Owned for 10 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The temperature on this thing is 285 degrees by default, and the lowest heat setting is 175 degrees. It also has a bar on both sides at the top of the plates that grabs your hair. Heat and pulling combined to cause MAJOR hair breakage for me that will take years to grow back given I have very long hair! It took me several months to figure this out, sadly! Hopefully, I can prevent others from losing and frying their hair with this thing! FYI, your standard hair dryer is about 100 degrees!
