It still takes some coaxing to get my hair to wrap around it. The curls stay a long time, which is surprising. My hair does not feel as soft, though, as when I do blow dryer curls.

It does take a little to get use to it and it does take a while to completely dry and style my hair (but I asume it is because I have a lot of hair). Overall, I would recommend it :)
