    Fantastic heater for the room in our house that can't seem to keep warm in the winter. Advice: Don't run it all day/night regardless of its auto-off feature. Dust and overuse can lead to "H2 Error" which may force you to get it repaired or, in my case, request a replacement from Dyson. Besides for that, it is truly worth every dollar of its $500 price tag.

    I have a few Dyson products in my house and all I would say have been worth their money...except one and that one is the AM09 cooling and heating fan. This fan was purchased for its ability to both cool and heat vs having to buy two for heating and one for cooling. The idea sounds great and is convenient, however, for its cost it does only an okay job. Owing it being a Dyson I kept it because of convenience and the belief that it would last. After the warranty expired, the unit no longer heats and gives an error code H2. I followed the online instructions to troubleshoot it, but that did not fix the problem. I called up Dyson for repairs and they told me sadly since it is past warranty they would not replace it for me. Furthermore when I inquired about having it repaired, they told me at this time there is no fix for the problem. For such an expensive fan, this is really disappointing. Please avoid these fans, because there is no servicing for the Dyson AM09 if it breaks down. I gave it 2 stars because of convenience.
