I had been skeptical about the stain brand. Thinking they were just over priced. I had vacuumed earlier in the day before my wife and I went out. While I was looking for a TV she had decided to get a new vacuum. Which we did need. As I stated before I was skeptical. We got home I put it together( not a bunch of pieces to put together) this vacuum is definitely worth the money. Even though I had vacuumed earlier that day. This vacuum pulled so much more dust and whatever else was stuck up in the carpet. I was amazed at how much more stuff it pulled up. Worth the money.

This vacuum quite simply does the job and is Dyson's best model yet. Nothing is left on the ground after use.

My first Dyson vacuum was in the house for 15 years. Outside of some basic upkeep never had an issue. Still working when I purchased this new one. I am hoping for the same result. The Dyson pet has a stronger suction than the old Dyson. The ball takes some to get use to but it does make it easier to get in to corners. So far I am very happy with the purchase.

We have always had pets and have gone through numerous vacuums. They wear out fast, lose suction and are heavy and cumbersome. So we decided to try the Dyson, and I am so very very happy with it. It is easy to maneuver, use on the stairs, sucks up everything, and really gets all the cat hair. It is much lighter than our old vacuum and not as bulky either. So far we are very pleased!

Great suction, highly maneuverable, light weight, and plenty of attachments. Hard to beat.

I have had two Dyson vacuums and this was the cheapest of the now 3 and also just as good as my more expensive $600 animal ball. Highly recommend!

And you *want* your vacuum to suck! So far this is a great vacuum - lightweight and maneuverable but very strong suction. We have two human longhairs and two cats, and we are tough on vacuums. We will see if it holds up but so far I am impressed.

needed a new dyson and the wife wanted this model. it has tremendous suction force and you should be very careful if there are strings, or loose parts of carpet. the carpet is very clean and like other dysons the tank is full of pet hair or whatever in no time at all. gives you a good feeling to know your family is ok to be on the floor.

I use this vacuum everyday! I've had it for over a month and so far it's been excellent for the carpets and rugs I use it for. We don't have pets yet so I can't say it's great for pet hair but I can say that as an everyday vacuum is outstanding. It's a little expensive for a vacuum but it's worth it in the long run.

I bought many Vacuums since married in 1999 , My wife had never been able to deeply clean our carpets, Finally Dyson makes our carpets cleaner.

I've used Dyson products for 10 years now and the Dyson - Ball Animal 2 doesn't disappoint. The suction power is amazing, its light, handles well on carpet and hard wood and with multiple attachments makes cleaning animal hair a breeze. Would definitely recommend to someone to spend the $$$ on a great Vacuum over cheaper knock off once every year or 2.

This is my first Dyson and I couldn’t be happier with its overall design and performance. The suction is exceptional. It cleans pet hair from rugs and furniture really effectively. The cord is extra long, allowing you to get around the room or up the stairs if needed. Attachments are great. Definitely worth the investment.

By far, the best vacuum we ever owned. This vacuum is so easy to use and it picks up even the smallest particle. Very simple to clean and very maneuverable also. My family and I enjoy vacuuming with the Dyson Animal because the floor looks like new everytime.

This our second Dyson and are happy with the power it has. we first got the canister style and it is easy to use. This upright model is more powerful but using the attachments is a but cumbersome as you have to remove an insert from the hose and it is not very stretchable.

Love this Vacuum. Get all the dog hair. Does loss some power picking up things after a long time but i do live in the country

This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever used, much less owned. We went with an “animal” since the brush on our older Dyson routinely got wrapped up with the hair from the three women plus a long haired cat in our home. It has been great in that regard and what small amount of hair does get wrapped is easily removed. The greatest thing though is the suction! We have older carpets and over the past month of using the Dyson it fills the collection bin with dirt and fluff. We are a clean family clean despite having 4 kids, so this isn’t all new. This is dirt from YEARS ago that has never been extracted because the vacuums weren’t strong enough. Our carpets are visibly fluffier and feel cleaner. The ball rolling and turning makes navigation a breeze. The vacuum isn’t perfect. I liked our previous Dyson expandable hose system better and the head flops down too easily when trying to tilt it back to move when not actively cleaning, but definitely livable. Overall, I completely recommend.

What can I say. You get what you pay for. Amazing quality, great performance and a 5 year warranty! This is the best vacuum I’ve ever had.

I used my wife’s first Dyson Ball on an at home carpentry project and it took a lot of life out of it. This new one is really impressive.

This vacuum changed my life. I have always used cheap vacuums that I regularly replaced because I did not think that it was worth the cost to buy a high-end vacuum. I stand corrected. We live in a mostly carpeted apartment, that with a set of toddler twins has a lot of traffic with little feet and snack crumbs. I vacuumed regularly and thought that I was keeping up well on my carpets, but the first few swipes with this dyson informed me I was wrong. The amount of cat fur, dust, and whatever else that came out of our carpets was honestly shocking. The look and feel of my carpets changed. They finally stand up instead of being ran down, and feel soft instead of stiff. The power of the suction is strong, but not as dramatic as many reviews I had read claim. The placement of the hose in the handle is so convenient, and the technology that automatically switched the suction from the floor to the hose when the vacuum is stood is genius. In all, BUY YOURSELF THIS VACUUM!
