I live in an old college student rental property. It is far from a clean home even with constant vacuuming. After once use the carpet was significantly better! It got dirt that previously wasn't possible. It was definitely expensive which is what stopped me rating 5 stars but would say it was worth the purchase!

Dyson is the absolute best of vacuum cleaners. I have been using them for years now. We had an issue with our last one during the warrenty period, and they sent us a new one. It's unbeatable. This one works very will with our pet hair.

very good for carpet and really any surface. I don't have a problem with hardware floor and tile but I will be purchasing the lighter cordless version just for my convenience. this vacuum is pretty heavy and a little loud but for me it will do.

The motor on my Shark Vacuum broke so I decided to upgrade to the Dyson. I have four cats and have to vacuum all the time. My favorite part of the Dyson is the easy to use attachments to clean my couch and my stairs. Cat hair gets everywhere and this is the best machine to handle the job.

This is a great vacuum cleaner. Powerful suction, easy to maneuver on both carpet and bare floors. Plenty of attachments for cleaning tight places and vehicles. Only drawback is it is very heavy.

I used to check the Dysons out just casually inspecting them for overall build based on nothing more than an unplugged visual inspection which usually left me wondering why the higher cost because upon these quick inspections I noted what seemed to be a cheap plastic build and some creaky noises typical of other plastic vacuum manufacturers. Why did I change my mind? It's because after trying several vacuums in the under $200 price range and being left with broken gears and other miscellaneous part breakages I decided to ask the Best Buy sales representative for recommendations and she convinced me to at least give one a try knowing I could return it if I was less than pleased. Ok, so what at first seemed like the typical plastic is nothing of the sort, it's much thicker and the fittings have what appear to be high quality embedded metal hardware, the HEPA filter cover for example has a ratcheting nut that prevents you from overtightening. Other signs of quality soon became evident such as the gauge of hose spring coil and vinyl thickness and this is possibly a negative in one way in that it tends to fight me a little when I try to extend it to reach something with the various tools but to be honest if it means that it'll last longer than I can live with that plus it will probably relax a bit after usage. I won't get to much into the cleaning capability as that has been widely published by others but count me among those believers, I am now and will continue to love my Dyson for many years, they are truly of higher quality than others and while admittedly overpriced there really is nothing better that I have owned or used.

I tried to save money and purchased another brand of vacuum cleaner when my previous Dyson gave out after 10 years. It claimed to pick up pet hair, but the reality was that it seemed to just blow the dirt around and hardly picked up anything let alone pet hair. I got so frustrated with it that I put it out on the curb and then went to Best Buy to get another Dyson. Seriously! What a difference in quality...no more dirt, no more pet hair!!!

My favorite vacuum by far. I will never buy a different brand. Easy to use, great attachments and best of all, no bags! Everything comes apart easily for cleaning. This is my second Dyson and I plan on buying the next version.

Very pleased with this purchase, my previous vacuum was not able to vacuum up all of the fine hair from my long haired pet. The Dyson Ball Animal 2 sucks up all the hair and dander. It's a breeze to use and the power is phenomenal. The only drawer back is the ball does not let the vacuum get under furniture. I must use the extension accessories for that.

Dyson is on the pricy side but it works great. We use mostly on wood floors with the brush turned off.

Works really well and suction is as expected. Easy to use. The look and design of the vacuum is cool. Dyson products are known to be on the more expensive side and this product is no exception to that. It’s worth trying to see whether this vacuum and price works for you.

Works well, but requires some maintenance. Dyson vacuums to me are like Ferraris. Expensive and high-performance, but requires constant adjustments. Seems like the air filters clog easily and you have to empty the bin then scrub off the blockage of the filter screen. -do NOT use anything wet to do this! (we learned the hard way). I recommend a kitchen dish scrubber with plastic bristles, but again, make sure it's dry when you use it! Also, the hose quite often sucks up large items that block the airflow and you have to take it apart to remove these items. -small price to pay for such suction! Again, I love Dysons (I've owned several Dyson vacuums) but you do have to keep cleaning and removing items for it to work at peak performance.

Works fantastic with dog hair and with tile surfaces. The attachment is great for couches and stairs.

My wife and I were tired of buying sweepers that left you feeling underwhelmed and frustrated. After doing some homework we decided on the Dyson Animal Ball 2. We are very happy with our choice! Great suction and leaves the carpet looking nice when you're done. Best vacuum I've ever owned by far.

This thing SUCKS!! So you should buy it cuz vacuums are one item you want to make sure really SUCKS!

I’ve had a Dyson ball vacuum cleaner for many years and it served me well with regular use. This product was a replacement and upgrade to my old one. Great vacuum cleaner!

Love this vacuum. I have a husky, a Maltese and 3 cats. Works wonders with getting everything. I’ve gone through three vacuums before this one. Thinking it will last me awhile! Easy to clean as well. Recommend to anyone. Great investment.
