I love how this picks up all the fur from my dog! I vacuum everyday and it still gets all the stuck on hair! The attachments are great because I can reach my bathroom fan and vacuum it without a step ladder.

I have two Persians. I don't know what I would do without this vacuum. I mean, I really abuse this vacuum, and it holds up like a champ—best of the best.

we bought this to replace our other Dyson pet vacuum. this one is lighter, and glides quite well. the power this thing has is kind of crazy. When vacuuming area rugs, you have to make sure you hold them down, because it is so powerful!

light weight, agile and great amount of vacuum force. Able to see the different from the beginning. Has the attachments needed to pick up animal hair from the couch which is very convenient.

High quality vacuum cleaner. Definitely sturdy and has strong suction. It was a pain in the XXX to assemble and not as industrial as the original Dyson Monster but works for us.

Always wanted a Dyson and it doesn’t disappoint. Great suction and pretty quiet compared to our last vacuum. Easy to empty. The cleaning tool is hard to use on something low to the ground but worth the money.

I love this vacuum! It works as it says it will work, very well! My floors are the cleanest they have ever been. It easily transitions from carpet to hard floors. The cord length is nice too.

We've had Dysons for years. Out old Animal broke and we tried to use Dyson stick vacs as a replacement. After a while, it became evident that you really NEED a wired vac from time to time. So, we purchased this Animal 2 and couldn't be happier. We vacuumed one last time with the sticks and then went over the same area with this monster. Needless to say, despite the ability of the sticks to pick up dirt, this pulled canister after canister out of the carpet. I'll never be without a corded vacuum again. As far as operation, it's a breeze. I've had no problem using it on carpet of hard surface. It is maneuverable and powerful. Extension is a snap and I've been able to use some of my old attachments (if you had an old vac, you may have to purchase new attachments due to the new connecters).

This vacuum is powerful. The first time I used it I was disgusted/impressed by how much stuff it pulled out of our rugs that our older vacuum was leaving behind. Most of our home has wood floors and so we have lots of rugs. Unless the rug is very heavy, the suction on this vacuum is so powerful I can't really vacuum near the edges because it inhales the rug. I find the attachment on this vacuum best for cleaning high spaces and it's rigid design makes it awkward to use. But, in every way I feel this vacuum gets our home (that's full of kids and animals) insanely clean, getting every hair and speck of dirt, dust, and what have you. Happy with the basic function. I think this model is ideal for a home with wall to wall carpet. I would save getting all the attachments for the dyson stick vacuum.

Great suction, multiple useable attachments. Every time I use it the hardwood floors look and feel very clean. The Only criticisms is sometimes it's hard to click it into a locked finished position and when using the attachments the suction is so powerful it's hard to get the hose fully extended

This is the best vacuum cleaner I have ever had for picking up cat hair and dirt from my carpet and what makes it also so good is that the power cord is the proper length for doing the back part of my house without having to move to another outlet.

Very happy with the Dyson Animal 2. It has great suction and is easy to maneuver. The additional tools for stairs and upholstery work great. It is terrific removing dog hair from carpet and hardwood.

Most suction out of a vacuum cleaner ever. Only complaint is that it might be too powerful. Super easy to use love how smoothly it turns.

Wasn’t sure I wanted to spend this kind of $$ on a vacuum, but due to Dyson’s reputatuon I decided to bite the bullet. This Dyson is replacing a Shark. Vacuumed with my Shark just yesterday, and I got my Dyson today. So, of course I had to take it for a spin. The suction on this thing is unbelievable. Picked up a lot of dust my old vacuum left behind. Even when using the attachments, the suction was powerful. #1 reason for choosing the Animal 2 was because we have two dogs and, including me, three girls with long hair. We’ll still have to see if it can keep up, but I have no doubts that it will. It was also cheaper than the other Animal models. And, it offers a more powerful suction that the other Animal models as well. Wasn’t sure about this “ball” thing, but I have to tell you it maneuvers easily, smoothly, and precisely.

This is by far the best vacuum I've owned! We have three dogs and it does an amazing job of getting all of the dog hair off the floor. Works great on hardwood and carpet!

I love this Dyson vacuum. It gets up more cat hair than my old vacuum. I vacuumed first with old vacuum then went over it with the Dyson. It picked up more dirt and cat hair even after just being vacuumed. I also love that it’s light weight.

Dyson Ball Animal 2 Upright Vacuum works very well. The vacuum does a very good job and comes with several attachments. Using the vacuum is easy. The vacuum is fairly lightweight and works as advertised.

This vacuum made our furniture and floors look amazing. Money well spent

This vacuum is a work horse. A bit pricey which left me apprehensive and taking longer to take the plunge. Once I did, I was pleased with the power and performance of this little vacuum.
