We bought this model Dyson vac after reading reviews and finding a great price on Best Buy - eBay. After purchase we learned the vac was to be offered at $100 less than our purchase price as part of Best Buy’s Black Friday sale. While contacting Best Buy eBay did not produce adequate customer service, a phone call to Best Buy did. I was issued a quick price match. The vacuum is great. Easy to assemble and takes care of our pet hair challenges.

Cons: must push hard to click it into an upright position, often twice... almost feels like it will break, but doesn't! Pros: Awesome suction! Great with dog hair, good container size, love the length of the cord!, lots of attachments come with it, it's nice and light weight.

This vacuum is great on carpet or hard floor, no pets required. Several attachments are included and work very well. Most impressive is the extendible wand that can reach the ceiling. It’s super powerful in all modes and cleans up easily. Five stars.

I recently got a new job at a different law firm and two cats also call the office home. I did not know how severe my allergy to cats were until my first reaction of throat closing and one eye swollen shut. I immediately purchased an air purifier with a Hepa filter and decided that due to the type of carpet in the office I needed a powerful vacuum cleaner. We also have two Boston terriers at our house that we thought our other vacuum controlled their random hair shedding. Once I got this and ran it through once we quickly realized we just didn’t remember what clean carpet looked like! It’s amazing! And along with other things, has helped with the cat allergy issue tremendously! I will Buy again and again and again I’m sure and without hesitation! Highly highly recommend! It was slightly discounted but the price was still VERY steep but I guarantee it is well worth every cent!!

Upgraded from an old bissel we had for 4 years. This vaccuum is definitely easier to maneuver, has useful attachments and great suction. I wish it had the ability to lift away for stair use and the cord does sometimes get annoying. I'm curious to see how it holds up over time but it does it the job done picking up dog hair (pug and lab).

My new Dyson is amazing! It has great suction and rolls smoothly and is easy to clean and has a long cord and is otherwise too loud. The way just a simple tug causes the handle part to fall back or click straight up is nice and the accessories are excellent. A great value.

We replaced our old dyson with this one and it’s amazing. Easy to use and cleans like a dream.

2nd Dyson ball purchased over a 15 year period. As far as I’m concerned all other manufacturers have been playing catch up since the first Dyson was offered.

I had a Dyson ball vaccum that I bought back in 2010. It lasted forever. I replaced it with this new model and I have no regrets. Great sucking power, longer cord, attachments are helpful too.

Love my Animal Dyson! This is my second one with the first 20+ year old one still going strong. Even if you don’t have animals, you can trust your Dyson to get dirt other vacuums can’t.

When our vacuum died several months ago, I purchased a new one. I purchased another Hoover as that is what we have been using for the past several years. The performance of the hoover was ok at first, then we started having trouble with the brush engaging. It got to the point it would not work at all so I decided to replace the vacuum. I purchased this Dyson. I wished I had checked into this one first time around because it works so much better than the Hoover. It has much better suction and is so much easier to operate. We have been using this one for awhile now, and I have to say that this is the best vacuum I have ever had. I liked it so much that I went back and purchased their cordless stick vacuum. I am also very happy with this one. I would highly recommend the Dyson vacuum over the other brand. They work so much better and are so very easy to operate.

This is the best vacuum cleaner the suction is great and it picks up everything.

I have always had a Dyson vacuum around the house but this one takes the cake! I have two cats and a dog and of course they all shed. This vacuum picks up ALL of their fur no problem. It’s like they were never there. It’s spectacular on all surfaces: wood, tile, carpet. Super easy to set up and use. I also love the color and design. I definitely recommend this particular Dyson!!

I have two kids and three dogs and a house full of carpet. This means I vacuum every other day. I also have very bad allergies. Our old Dyson lasted 10 years. We decided to stick to Dyson and picked this up. The vacuum moves very easily thanks to the ball. It picks up EVERYTHING. It’s easy to clean and has great attachments. We have carpeted stairs and it’s easy to clean them.

Suction is great and the attachment does well for the couch and pillows. Easy to use and easy to maintain. This is my 3rd dyson and will never deviate from this.( I have 2 that I currently use and the 1st one had an issue and was returned for the 3rd)

I love my new vacuum. It's very easy to use, it glides easily, cleans well without blowing back debri on the floor. I have back problems and it's light enough and glides so I don't hurt my back. I have 4 animals and picks up all the hair.

I have always bought various other name brand sweepers, spending minimum about $300 on them, so not the cheapest ones. I have a tendency to burn the motor on them for some reason. So after my 4th one in about 4-5 years, I finally decided I was going to spend the money try a Dyson Animal (forgot to mention I have 2 dogs) I also have had multiple back and shoulder surgeries and in Dec. crushed two fingers and in April a partial amputation of a finger on my dominant hand. When I used my new Dyson, for the first time, it was like a world of difference in the ease and manueverbility!!! The big ball makes it so easy to handle and use!! I should have tried this a long, long time ago. If you have had surgeries, give Dyson a try, the difference is amazing to me!!! Oh yes, and the suction is superb as they say.

I took advantage of the Christmas-New Year's sale and had a Christmas gift card for Best Buy so this was my Christmas present to myself. I wanted a bagless vacuum cleaner BUT I didn't want to buy new filters every 3-6 months or when needed. I wanted a vacuum cleaner that needed minimum maintenance and Dyson Ball Animal 2 fit the bill for my outgoing bagless vacuum cleaner. Yes, it still has filters but they are washable and reusable. This alone will save me $$$ compared to another similar model (also less expensive) but uses disposable filters. The vacuum is easy to maneuver around my apartment and cleans the carpet pretty good. What really impressed me was how powerful the attachment tools clean the furniture. The only knock I give this vacuum cleaner is the price but if I have this for 15 plus years then may be worth it.

I bought my first Dyson Animal ball DC25 14 years ago! It was the best vacuum but it was slowly losing suction so of course I had to buy a new Dyson. Here are my pros and cons of the new Animal Ball 2... PROS: ✓ Powerful suction ✓ Better filters (2)and they're washable ✓ A longer cord ✓ Brush head is wide ✓ it's a great vacuum if you have pets! CONS: - Not as sturdy as the older Dyson vacuums. Most of it is made of plastic. - Not as user-friendly as the original. It's kind of hard to get the attachments on and off. - It's hard to put the vacuum back in the upright position after vacuuming. Even with the cons this is a great vacuum cleaner! I have tile floor throughout my house with some area rugs and it definitely does it's job! It can handle all the hair from my two dogs easily. I'm not sure if it will last as long as the original Dyson but that's why I bought an extended warranty.
