My last vacuum finally broke down. At first I was a little hesitant to take the plunge on a dyson, but it is worth every penny. I want to say now that this vacuum is a game changer. My house looks and feels better than the day i moved in. Im talking night and day. Also the attachments that come with this version are super useful, and not just somthing that will collect dust on a shelf.

I know they are pricey but I really like mine. Works well.

This vac is replacing a Dyson Stick V8 Animal, which is still fantastic to a degree. The stick is so good, but it's losing battery life again, and I felt like it was time to get a corded model instead of replacing the battery once again. It's heavy but surprisingly nimble for its size. I'm a petite person and I do fine on the hard floor but struggle a bit on the rug. However, it does a great job of picking up the dirt. I do feel like it's a bit overpriced, though. I expected it to be heavy, and I knew what I was paying for so, all in all, it's a nice vacuum. The dog attachment is cool. I use it on the sheepskin rugs, and my dog enjoys it. Oh, it is a noisy vac but so is the stick. It's a trade-off for power, I suppose.

This vacuum cleaner does a great job, we have 3 dogs and it picks up the dog hair with ease. One of my favorite features is the cord. It is super long.

I’ve had this vacuum for a short time now, and I’m really impressed. The suction power is strong and consistent—it pulls up pet hair and fine dust I didn’t even realize was there. The Ball design makes it surprisingly easy to maneuver around furniture, and the cord length is generous enough that I don’t have to keep unplugging it from room to room.

Easy to operate. Very powerful with excellent suction. Hair does not get tangled, which is a huge improvement from our previous Dyson which was over 12 years old. The unit is pretty heavy though, which was a surprise. Overall, very pleased with this purchase

Love my Dyson! I’ve tried to vacuum. I just keep going back to Dyson. I love the fact that this vacuum makes it easier to vacuum the stairs because of the lip they provided so that you can hold the vacuum. I love the multiple carpet settings. It’s extremely user-friendly and easy to clean. I’ve had Dyson since the early 2000. I tend to be kinda hard on my vacuum cleaners. I have a golden retriever, so I vacuum weekly if not more. My little car boat Dyson is used almost every day. I got my first Dyson because Stanley steamer came to clean my carpet. The guy told me about Dyson’s so I went and got one. That Dyson pulled up Debris and dog hair after Stanley Steemer had clean my carpet. That sold me. And the customer service is really good, which is not common these days. I highly recommend Dyson. Love my Dyson!

This things sucks! In the best way possible. Really like everything about this vacuum its light, its versatile, its bagless, filters are easy to clean, lots of attachments. This is my second one first one i ran into ground after many many years of use. After this one goes which i would imagine will be another 10-15 years of use ill get another. Great product!

This machine is a beast, regardless of where it is i can reach it. with a 50 foot cord and a stretchy hose you can suck anything up with little difficulty. To top it off the grooming the attachment is amazing for dogs like siberian huskies. I've got 2 and went from daily shedding to looking daily groomed. only downside is its a little heavy pushing around.

I have Long hair Alaskan Malamute wolf hybrids, and these big boys shed year round. Not many machines can handle that much hair this one does it like a champ. (⁠ﾉﾟ⁠0ﾟ⁠)⁠ﾉ⁠~ if you have long hair dogs, YOU NEED THIS.

The Dyson corded vacuum is a wonderful vacuum, sucking up all the dirt & dog hair efficiently with ease. The vacuum is bag less & has a compartment where the dust collect goes. It is easily & quickly emptied. This corded Dyson is much better than the Dyson stick cordless models and is easily pushed/pulled over both carpets & floors. I have 3 long haired dogs and have tried both the corded & cordless models. This one is by far the best!

Wow, that's all I can say. It sucks up everything and I mean everything. My son dropped a bag of flour on the floor and it picked it up in 20 seconds. Great attachments, and it swizels around. I love it and well worth the money

Best vacuum in my opinion. Easy to use and very easy to clean the vacuum! This is my 2nd time owning a Dyson. I love it.

At first I was so excited to Finally get a Dyson vacuum cleaner. We went all out and got the top one at the time. First for the pros: It offers great succion and I love the pet brush tool. My girl loved sitting and getting her hair vacuumed which was so cute. I love the long cord, that is a great pro feature. Now for the cons and to me they are HUGE. 1. There is no light on the floor base. Sounds silly to have a light there but I can't tell you how much I missed not having one after having it with my Shark vacuum for the past 10 years. 2. This one is a HUGE con in my opinion and that is the way you pull the extension off to use the hand tools or vaccum a base board etc. You have this 2-3 foot rod that makes it awkward to vacuum furniture because it is huge. That is something Dyson really needs to model more like the Shark or other vacuums. I constantly take the handle off the base to vacuum little things or window sills etc and with the Dyson it is very difficult to do this. 3. To change from the low pile, high pile or hardwood floor the switch is on the low part of the base which is pretty inconvenient. Would be much better if in the handle area or up top somewhere. Soo all in all those little things and not so little added up enough to make we want to return the vacuum. I hope they make things a bit more user friendly and hope this helps provide valuable feedback.

Amazing suction, it was difficult to assemble but I watched a YouTube video that helped me. It’s great on carpet and hard floor so great vacuum it was just difficult to assemble. Much better than the handhelds

I purchased this vacuum because we have 2 dogs. This vacuum does an amazing job, I love how you never have to worry about hair getting stuck on the roller, that’s a huge plus! The pet groomer tool is a plus too!

It had good suction but definitely heavy. Was not convenient for tile floors.

The Dyson Ball Animal 3 is a seriously capable vacuum cleaner. It’s light enough that I can clean areas that were really hard to get to, and powerful enough to clean everything very thoroughly. The ball feature makes this a very agile vacuum cleaner, so it’s easy to maneuver around, under and over everything. A great feature is the combination of cord length and hose length - I don’t have to unplug it from one room to go to another one. Finally, the accessories that come with it can handle all sorts of cleaning issues, including getting pet hair out of upholstery, and even brushing the hair out of the pet to begin with!

This vacuum cleaner is proficient in every aspect. However, when compared to a (any) different vacuum in the $100-$200 range, it really doesn't outperforms. In my opinion you would be better off saving a couple hundred dollars and get a more budget friendly vacuum that will perform similarly to this one. In short, I don't think it's worth being over $400. Good vacuum but hard to justify such high price point. Also, if you vacuum carpet with this... It becomes a workout lol. The suction power is so high that when you try to move the vacuum makes it feel a lot heavier.

This has been a good vacuum an it does good on all surfaces. I do think the material could be better due to the price. The plastic can make noises from time to time and the handle area should have been thicker plastic.
