I'm shocked at how much cleaner my carpets feel. The hose attachment articulation could be better. Its hard to wield and get into desired position. Aside from that, perfect.

I have a couple of cats, and the "Animal" designation is really appropriate!! I highly recommend this to anyone!!!

Finally after years of wishing, i was able to but one! Dang, what an awesome investment. Well worth every penny and never going back to other brands. Dyson fan for life!

We have a Golden Retriever and could never completely get rid of her fur from our carpets until now. The Dyson does the job and then some. I’d highly recommend the Dyson for any dog lover.

Very good suction

It makes it hard to reach some places and bend the hose. I've only had this vacuum for a week. I heard after a year it loses suction. So far it pics up the dog hair well. I have 4 dogs and 3 cats which are indoor out door pets. I love the deshedder attachment to bush the dogs. They dont love it so much though the vacuum is to loud and scary.

I have to say this is the best vacuum relative to power that I have owned. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the weight. It does take some muscle to move it around. The attachments are great and the angles it provide while cleaning is second to none. The overall look is great and I am very happy with the purchase. Wish it was cheaper, but if it lasts, I am highly satisfied.

Best Vacuum I've ever used

I use it every other day and would reccommend this vacuum to anyone that has animals and wants an ultra clean living space. Dyson provides the tools, you provide the elbow grease. Buy one.

I tried a few other brands but they didn’t measure up to Dyson so I got this gem and it is a GAME CHANGER! The suction is immaculate and by having so much carpet in my home, I truly feel that my floors are much cleaner now

I've used cheaper vacuums, and you get what you pay for. Pros - The hair cutting feature integrated into beater bar is nice (no more disassembly to clean), additional accessories are a plus. Nice long cord. Cons - The extendable hose spring is too strong and causes the vacuum to slide into you while using (on non-carpet). This has always been the case with the Dyson.

Has great suction ability to capture deep down dirt and pet hair from carpet and furniture. I do not like the hose attachment set up though. Using it is kind of awkward. I also wish the cord was an auto matic retractable option. It does weigh a little too, so not the best to go up and down stairs easily. Ultimately, it is a good vacuum though.

Must purchase if you have fur babies

We had one finally give out after 8 years and purchased this model since we have a ton of fur babies. We love the attachment that allows us to brush our pets & suck up all the pet hair. The vacuum itself is powerful and is doing a better job than our old Dyson Animal machines.
