This vacuum has been a life-saving upgrade ever since I first purchased it. When the pandemic first started, I spent a lot of time at home. After almost a year of living alone, I decided to adopt two kittens. My apartment quickly became filled with pet hair, treats, and scattered litter. I knew I had to invest in a durable machine and I settled on the Animal 3 based on reviews. I have absolutely no regrets. If you take care of the vacuum, it will perform for years. I highly recommend!

Loving the animal 3. I had the animal 2 (I think, it was 7 years old), and I feel like Dyson has fixed some issues from the last version. My old one, getting the wand back in was ALWAYS a battle...to the point that sometimes I had to put myself in timeout before attempting to get it back in. Not with this one. Goes back in every time without a problem! Also, now there are levels for hardwood vs rug. I will tell you, the hardwood setting is LOW but perfect for that. You just better make sure you raise it up to move to area rugs. Lots of suction! Also, I don't know if I didn't put it on the animal 2, but the animal 3 now has a spot to hold your attachments. Really happy with this purchase!

Customer service was outstanding. The sales representative were curtious and knowledgeable of all vacuum products. He even helped to obtain a 20% discount by becoming an best buy elite member. Since having used my new vacuum, the suction is strong and the set up was very simple. This was sold an an affordable price.

It is pretty powerful. We are happy with our choice. Only thing you may want to be careful is its weight. It is a little heavy.

This was an excellent value for the money. Dyson products are all overpriced, but in this instance, I got a great deal at Best Buy. I was able to order it online, so it was ready when I arrived for easy pickup. The vacuum has great suction and cleans well, but it is a little heavy to push around.

Dyson works like a charm! Have had several and love the cleaning power (especially for cleaning up my Yellow Lab's hair) and ease of use. Best Buy had my item ready for pickup in thirty minutes!

Consistently a superior product. Easy to use and maintain. This is my fourth over twenty years. First one was exhausted. Second and third ran off with kids. Have tried less expensive and they couldn’t keep up with pets. Longer reaching cord than previous. Best brush in this generation.

We got this to replace a Dyson Stick. One of my kids broke the stick one so we figured we go back to heavy duty. Well this one is really heavy, like seriously hard to push sometimes. It gives me a workout for sure and lets off a lot of heat!! The room gets hot while vacuuming. Overall a good vacuum, just wasn’t expecting it to be so heavy.

Cleans thoroughly. Is heavier than a stick vacuum. Empties easier than other vacuums. Using the wand is awkward.

Overall this vacuum is great. The hair removal veins in the head work wonders. I’ve used the vacuum multiple times are there really is very minimal hair wrapped around the brush. The suction is amazing it has no problems picking up debris on high pile carpet. The cord is very long too. Which can be annoying. If you’re really wanting a cordless I would go with that. But if you don’t mind the cord this is definitely worth the price.

Our original Dyson Animal finally gave out. The bearings in the brush head gave out, the brushes locked up and started heating up due to the friction. This works very much like the original except it cleans it's own brush as you vacuum. We have 3 long hairs animals in our house and 1 long haired dog. So far it has more powerful suction than the older Dyson and a longer cord. We are happy with it so far.

Dyson Ball Animal 3 did an amazing job picking up my 2 dogs fur (German Shepherd and Border Collie) off the carpet. The carpet looks new again. The down sides of this high-quality vacuum were the high price and heavy weight. I would recommend this product.

Picks up great, easy to maneuver, longer cord. Assembly was very easy.

Absolutely love it. Works great in our busy house with kids and pets.

We entertain quite frequently and have a Doberman at home as well. This vacuum is very effective and efficient in getting our carpets and hardwood floors clean and dog hair free. The 3 settings make an easy transition for cleaning and emptying the canister is a breeze.

My 2nd Dyson now and I'm still very happy with them. This one proved it's worth on the first couple of runs with how much it captured from the carpet. A couple of runs through and I'm convinced that my carpets are actually clean. The attachments are great too and well conceived.

The vacuum works great, but is very heavy. I wish the cord was retractable.

This is the best vacuum I ever purchased. It pulls all the dog hair out of the carpet that I never knew was there. So very powerful and easy to empty.

I've had a Dyson DC33 for years, kept it very well maintained by washing the filters every 90 days and cleaning it out really good with an air compressor. My wife talked me into upgrading to this model Dyson as she wanted something that can do our area rugs better and can maneuver around things a bit better. We saw this on a good Labor day sale and decided to pick it up. At first I thought it wasn't going to be worth the money and I'd end up returning it so I vacuumed all the carpets and area rugs in the house really well with my DC33 and then I vacuumed everything again with this one and just wow. This new Dyson filled the canister completely twice AFTER I had already vacuumed with the DC33. I just can't get over how much more suction this vacuum has than my older one. The adjustments on the head made it where I could vacuum our area rugs without it pulling the edges of the rugs up. The way the vacuum is designed, it's so much easier to get around and underneath furniture. The only thing I dislike about the vacuum is when just trying to push it around on the back wheels while it's off, it unlatches way too easy causing the head to fall down on the ground and it's annoying but I guess I just have to relearn how to push it around while it's off. Overall everything else about this vacuum is a major improvement over my old one that I already thought was the best.
