Dyson has definitely mastered the upright vacuum. Very easy maneuverability. Above average suction. East to empty.

My wife and I recently downsized from a house to a condo, and this vacuum was such a huge help in the transition. Picked up and cleaned every little corner of our house along with blinds and baseboards. We have two Staffordshires that shed quite a bit of little 3cm hairs that seem to get everywhere, but this vacuum picks up all of it, reducing the amount of time spent and improving our overall air quality. Only recommendation I would have is to wait for this to pop up on a Deal of the Day and save a couple hundred. Five Stars

Love, love, love this vacuum! Works great on carpet, hardwood. My only negative would be that it is a little heavy but it works great.

I am very satisfied with my new Dyson vacuum so far. It has great suction and cleans my carpets well. I’m looking forward to trying some of the attachments soon. It may be a little heavy for some to carry but it maneuvers well. Love that it is bagless and has a long cord.

My sisters complained my stick vacuum was not good enough for the house we live in so I got this and it is a great buy and good value for the money. Easy to maintain and filters are easily available. It is versatile and user friendly. I do wish they would start equipping these vacuums with under the couch wands that are the 36 inch variety . Ohter wise it is easy to maintain and durable so far.

Great suction but awkward and heavier than I like.

We had the smaller dyson dc24 previous to this and I'm so glad we went with the more powerful larger dyson. Great for our hardwood and amazing on carpet!

We own the original ball dyson and its still going strong 16 years later. I been wanting to get a new dyson and use other for dirty work outside or car.. Anyhow this Animal has a lot of suckage almost too much on longer carpet. Requires some adjustment. Light weight easy to use and really cleans well. One issue comparing to original, the dust collection area is much smaller and requires you to empty more often. Overall was a great purchase especially getting it 200 off on sale. Dysons really do suck hard! :P

This item has great features. It is so easy to dump the dirt out of the removable bag. Plus the suction is outstanding.

Very easy to use, lightweight, does a great job on carpet as well as hard floors. Would strongly recommend it.

Excellent suction - great at cleaning carpets and good at hardwood, automatically adjusting height. I've had it for a month, now, and my first few vacuum jobs pulled out tons of junk my old vacuum had missed. The quirks? After clicking into the upright position it may still fall down (apparently also an issue on the previous model), the hand vacuum with extension is awkward & just odd to use. Some parts don't seem durable, especially the dust canister, but it's too early to say. Anyways, the noise isn't bad, the ball's maneuverability is nice, and I'm loving this extreme suction!

We have had several different high end machines like Oreck and Kirby, they're both collecting dust in the closet as we now have gone completely over to Dyson, we have this and the big ball cinetic animal and allergy. Both machines are amazing if you have animals and love a clean house! It works perfectly everytime, and actually pulls the hair out of rugs, it's light and easy to use. Just an amazing product and I'm a Dyson customer for life.

I have to admit that every new purchase of anything new intimidates me to death because I am kind of difficult at figuring out how things work, but this one was a breeze. It is absolutely easy to operate, powerful enough to deal with carpets, tiles and wood floors, twists and turns easily, the extendable part is really long and reaches everywhere, the additional parts are versatile and practical...and after I'm done, getting rid of the contents is a piece of cake. Can't think of a con really, great product, I really love it.

Wanted a dyson for a while,bought it on sale and happy with our purchase so far, has great suction and cleans carpet to hardwood effortlessly!

I love to use my new Dyson vacuum. It is easy to push and the suction is fantastic. I would recommend this vacuum to everyone.

Works very good. Picks up dog hair well. Highly recommended. A bit pricey when not on sale.

I really wanted to like this vacuum because of its reputation for a strong suction. I really needed a vacuum that had better suction than any of the ones that I presently have. That is the one thing that this vacuum meets the strong suction is incredible and I’m pleased with that, but that’s about the only thing. I unfortunately still have carpet in my condo and two cats that shed. The good thing is the Dyson animal vacuum does a great job of getting up pet hair from a rug. The bad is that it hurts my back a little bit to push, which isn’t true of any other vacuum I have owned and the tool hose is so stiff that it’s virtually unusable. Also, the suction doesn’t work great on tile floors to pick up large pieces of debris the way the vacuum head is designed. I am strongly tempted to bring this back to Best Buy.

Just used this item a couple times so far it is what I expected. It fits my needs for a lighter weight and easier glide. Great on my carpet and floors.

This vacuum really does suck! Easy to assemble and use. Not as nice as some of the shark vacs I’ve owned but does a good job.

We have always used shark vacuum cleaners but wanted to upgrade to the Dyson. It is a VERY powerful vacuum cleaner and does fantastic on short ply carpet and hardwoods. I have two major issues with this vacuum. 1) The wand design is bad. The hose tries to retract while you use it. It's much harder to use than any other vacuum I have owned. you feel like your fighting it just to use it. 2) We have a medium ply in a few rooms and the Dyson has no way to adjusted (that I have found). The brushes stop because the vacuum pulls down on the carpet too hard. I have resulted in using my old Shark to clean all the carpets that the Dyson will not work on.
