This is my 2nd Purple Animal 2 by far the best Dyson I’ve owned for cleaning and suction power for pet hair! They last, are durable and if you have ANY issues their warranty and customer support are excellent!

What can I say, Dyson is the best in the game. This vacuum is perfect in every way, the cord is long enough for doing most of my 1st floor in one socket, the suction power and agitation is unrivaled. I’ve had a Dyson before but this one is by far the best I’ve ever had, I had vacuumed the other day and the other vacuum picked up most of it, but this vacuum that just came in got all the fine dirt imbedded in the carpet. The attachments are great. This vacuum I promise you is worth the money. Nothing comes close to it. And what I love about them, if you’re a clean freak like me, they easily come apart so you can clean, repair, or replace parts if needed. Not that you will have to replace parts or get it repaired. But the fact that you can easily do that and find replacement parts so easily, just is an added bonus. I love this vacuum, I know I’m weird but when you’re just a clean freak it’s just a must.

It sucks which is a good thing, picks up all the dirt, tools are convenient, easy to use and clean. Locking in the upright position could be a bit better, not a major issue

I wanted a new vacuum. I had my eye on this one for a while I happened to catch it on sale for the deal of the day. Made the online purchase then did the easy curb side pickup came home put it together and fired it up. I had a Dyson years ago and it did a great job. This newer model hasn’t disappointed. The long cord is a big plus for me it’s so annoying to have to keep stopping and having to plug into different outlets.

This vacuum cleaner is easy to push and cleans my floors better than any other that I have had.

We researched far and wide to find the RIGHT vacuum for a family of five with a Golden Retriever. The shedding is out of control and I was sick of having to FULLY clean our vacuum out EVERY. SINGLE. TIME - even after only two strokes across the room. This Dyson Animal seems to be doing the trick so far!! It has POWERFUL suction for sure and handles very well. A little heavy, but I can get over that for it really being able to pick up the dog hair!! So far so good!

I ordered this for her while i was away on business and still haven't stopped hearing about it. She loves it, says it picks up all the pet hair and the attachments are freaking awesome.! Definitely recommend this over our sharks!

I opened the box to find a random screw in the bottom of the box. Tried to locate where it belongs and couldn't. I took it out of the box and put all the accessories on the vacuum, only to notice some of the attachments do not fit on the machine. A little disappointed; however, thankful it came with so many accessories. This machine is great on carpet. It also rolls smoothly. You have to turn the beaters off when you vacuum over hardwood floors, but it works just fine. (I missed the opportunity to buy the hardwood floor accessory) Good bag-less system.

The Dyson rolls very smoothly on any surface and does a great job along edges and on standard carpet. The dirt canister is very easy to manage and empty. Suction is incredible, but that means it can have an issue with area rugs that aren't tacked down. On one large area rug with a tight weave, it sucks so hard that it is difficult to move (still investigating a solution, so still giving it an excellent rating.)

We needed a new vacuum for the house and this was on sale. Cool design. Very heavy, but rolls easily IMO. Very loud and easy to use. I like the option to turn on/off the rollers as needed. It does a good job vacuuming carpets and floors.

Sooo good!!! It’s light, and the suction is amazing! We have three large fur-baby pups (over 80lbs) who shed A LOT, and this little vacuum is just as fantastic their doggie beds as it is on the wood floors and carpets. Highly recommended!!

The best vacuum cleaner I ever had. Easy to use. You enjoy the process of cleaning. Carpet looks great and brushed after using it.

Good Vacuum. It is a bit heavier/harder to push around some of our carpet areas, but does a great job cleaning.

We bought this "Animal" as it was on a deep sale and a piece broke on our old Dyson DC 25. This is much more powerful, easier to maneuver and seems to be a little lighter. The flexible extension should be much easier to use than the old one, as well.

This is the best vacuum and is worth the money! Carpet feels like new under my feet, it has a strong suction to pick up all types of debris, and is very easy to clean.

This is a very good vacuum overall. It was easy to assemble straight from the box and an easy overall process. It has great suction and it is very easy to maneuver when vacuuming. However, when not in the process of vacuuming, it can be a bit difficult to move to a different location. It does have two small wheels in the rear, but it almost feels like you have to pick it up in order to move it, if your not in the process of vacuuming. Everything else about it is great!

A superb piece. This vacuum does everything that our prior Dyson (non-Animal) unit and then more. Worth buying a second unit, at the discounted price I got.

This vacuum is amazing. We bought it to replace a pretty good, or so we thought Hoover. We had never spent this much on a vacuum before and were a little worried it would'nt live up to the hype. The amount of gritty dirt it pull from the carpet on the 1st use made us realize the old was as good as we thought. Easy to assemble and operate. We are very happy with this purchase.

Suction is excellent. I usually have to make several passes over the rug where the dog likes to lie, but this vacuum does an amazing job at picking up all that dog hair. Moves easily. Empties with one hand. The accessories are useful although I wish they all attached to the vacuum - only 2 do. My one real problem - I wish the end of the hose was a telescoping design, there is a long solid section which is awkward sometimes, perhaps just because I'm short? Despite that, I love it and would buy it again.
