The assembly took a bit longer than I expected. The instructions were a bit unclear but after a YouTube video, my assembly was complete. In terms of vacuum quality, it sucks all of the debris and dust off my floors very easily. It’s pretty light weight for a vacuum and it maneuvers easily. I vacuumed my whole house in 45 minutes and my floors are looking very clean! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a high quality vacuum that will always ensure to suck up all of your debris off the floor.

I'm torn about this new vacuum. I bought this to replace my DC25, which is already some years old - nothing wrong with it, just thought it would be a nice upgrade. Results are mixed, which leaves me torn about how to rate this one. In terms of performance, wow! It picked up a lot! Even more than the good old DC25. I was shocked how much dirt, dust, and other stuff it did pick up; no complaints there. My concern and reason for the low rating is that I was surprised by the low overall quality and build. Not in a positive way. I was shocked to see how – at least with this particular vacuum – Dyson's quality and build has come down over the years. My old DC25 felt solid, well put together, plastic parts of an adequate thickness as quality. As I unboxed this new one, I couldn't help notice how the plastic felt, well, cheaper. The final assembly does not feel as reliable as my old one, and you can see significant gaps between the parts; it doesn't feel as well put together as the other. The canister is the worst part, and it doesn't fit precisely; there are gaps significant gaps. The rubber seal still holds, so performance doesn't seem to be affected for now. When I emptied the canister, the whole thing giggles, I have to empty it "carefully" because if I shake a little too hard to get all the dirt out, the entire thing falls apart! I never had that with the old machine. I'm debating if I return it or not. The performance is excellent, there is a definite improvement and upgrade from the old model, cleans better without any doubt. However, I'm wondering how long it will last? By the looks and first uses, I'm pretty convinced it won't last the years the DC25 has. I'm concerned it will break down. These are expensive machines, sad to see the quality has gone down so much. I will have to give much more thought about buying another Dyson product in the future.

I have had this machine for two years and it still works like the day I took it out the box! It does everything with ease.

Excellent vacuum cleaner that sucks up everything very well. Moves smoothly on the carpet and easy to store away. I would definitely buy.

As with all Dyson products the vacuum works great. Also the slim line and ball make handling easier. The attachments do not come apart and go back as well as I would like.

I didnt want to spend the money on a Dyson but after trying a Bissell and a Eureka I just need my dyson back so light weight and easy to use!

Very nice! And such an upgrade from the one I was using!! Much lighter and easy to use. Get in areas my other vacuum didn’t.

Very powerful suction. Feels cheap but that’s what makes it light. I just wish it had a power hand brush and a attachment for ceiling fans.

Great product, works 10x better then my old vacumm and maneuvers amazing. Super long cord to so no more jumping plug to plug I can get the whole house on one outlet!

First use it sucked ip more debris and dust the. My previous vacuum did in several uses. Easy to use and designed impeccably.

Just buy it! What did I wait so long to buy it. Not as loud a my previous vacuum. Light and easy to use. Area rugs and hardwood floors. No carpet in my home.

I'm soo happy with my new Dyson. It was easy to assemble, easy to use, and pretty light. Maneuvering the stairs isn't super easy, but doable.

I just bought one of these this week and had to return it the next day. It's a great vacuum don't get me wrong but we have thicker, high pile carpet and the thing wouldn't move on it at all. I gave it 4 stars because the vacuum is one of a kind but it's just too much suction for our entire 2nd floor being carpet. I guess we will go back to using the good 'ol Hoover or Bissell since they actually have manually adjusting vacuum heads for high pile carpet. If you are looking for something for hardwoods or Berber carpeting then this Dyson won't disappoint!

This vacuum is amazing! Good god it has a ton of power! And Especially being able to use it on hardwood with ease.
