I've bought a used one over 5 years ago through Craigslist. I decided to upgrade to a new vacuum. I love Dyson products! They last for a long time and it picks up dirt/debris everywhere right away with one streak. No problems whatsoever.

This vacuum works great. It has a long cord, great suction, and it's easy to use. All of the attachments are on-board.

It picks up with just one run on the carpet, long cord, very easy to push.no bags,its not loud

This vaccume is amazing. I have always hated vacuuming because the vaccines are so heavy and they only move in one direction. Also they lose suction way to easy. But this dyson is light weight and the ball helps you move in every direction. The best part is no lose of suction. Also you can go from carpet to hardwood and back to carpet without having to change the floor adjustment

I was looking for a vacuum clean for my home which have carpet floor h. I had a confusion to choose between the shark and dyson and I went through the reviews. The suction power and filter techniques compete each other but dyson have couple of advantages in handling. So finally go for it. Its 50 buck higher than the shark. I went to the best buy store near me and the pick was easy usual. The fittings are easy and straightforward. I will give a five star to this.

We had a home central vac system, wasn’t doing the job. Bought the Dyson, took it out of the box and wow. The suction and amount of dog hair it picked up was tremendous. Very easy to use and glides on hard floors or carpets. The wand would be my only negative thing to say, hard to use without holding vacuum as it falls over. Do wish price was a little lower.

Light with long cord. Great accessories. I love the ability to switch from carpet to floor with the push of a button.

Well I am a huge Dyson fan but this one missed the mark for me. I have a DC07 and it was time to upgrade due to all new carpet in the home. Don't get me wrong this unit works great as a vacuum but when you try and use the attachments it becomes more difficult. For example when trying to dust with the wand the unit continuously tips over if you wander more then a few inches from the main upright. A big deal for me so I returned the unit and went with a Shark. If you just want a really nice floor vacuum and don't need to use attachments this is for you if not there are others out there that work just as well.

Gift for mother-in-law at Christmas. Assembly not like our old DC07. Wand mechanism handle assembly did not easily insert into base, even following instructions. Somehow it popped into place after third person attempt. Prefer old style attachment storage. Once working, love the ease of usage and ability to switch carpet/floor type without bending over. Overall, good selection.

This is our second dyson the first one lasted over ten years, got a Hoover ( terrible) got this one so far very pleased we have a 2 year old and I have bad allergies, this helps a lot

Efficient vacuum. Cleans well. Easy to manage. Good price.

The assembly took me a little while, instructions weren't too clear, but overall it is a great product. Cleans carpet extremely well. Cleaning it is easy as well. A little on the heavy side despite being the medium sized one. Hurts the wrist if you try and curve the Vacuum to take advantage of the ball. Back and forth movement has no issues. Overall would buy again.

I have found this to work really well on hard surface floors. Better suction than my previous Shark which just did not seem able to get everything picked up. I have medium carpet in two bedrooms and it works good on it as well. I am not giving it a 5 because you can't adjust the pile height and there is is no button to lock and unlock it from the standing position which can result in it sometimes not locking in the upright position when I want it to.

This is a great vac for floors and thin rugs. It will not vacuum thicker more plush rugs. The suction is too great and the auto adjust head causes the vac to get bogged down and not move on plush rugs.

Love love dyson! I had an older dyson for over 12 years before it died. Got a cheaper vaccum but instantly regretted it. After 6 months with the clunky vacuum I had to get me my dyson! Luckily it was on sale too! Win win!! Dyson works on my wood and runners with ease. Will never buy any other brand.

I bought this with some skepticism not knowing how well the ball-style system would work or how much suction power it would have. I am no longer skeptical. This is an excellent duel-purpose vacuum! Sucks up animal hairs, no problem! It works very well on rugs. I highly recommend this product!

I have a dyson animal that is several years old. I love my animal however the cord is beginning to fray so I decided to buy another Dyson. I have two stories and I thought that I could keep one upstairs and one downstairs. I bought this online so I didn't check it out in advance. Pro is it does a good job picking up dirt. Cons are it is hard to maneuver, it is almost impossible to use on new carpet, it is a cheap plastic, and the dirt bin is not very big. We bought new carpet in one of our rooms (it is not overly plush or thick just what I would call normal) and it won't move across the carpet, you have to push it really hard. I guess that might be because it is sucking so hard. Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the height of the vacuum. I have no problem using my Animal on this carpet. As we are going to continue to replace our carpet through out our house this vacuum soon will be unusable for us. We can use it on our old carpet but that is because it is matted down from years of wear.

It’s a good vacuum for the money. Strong suction and cleans well. Would be nice to have a retractable cord. I am a bit concerned about how long the plastic parts will last but overall pleased.

I had my last vaccum for 5 years . It was heavy always wanted to get dyson vaccum with ball . Just brought one two weeks ago . Great vaccum; easy to use ; lightweight
