The best European style vacuum cleaner. I always wanted a Dyson, but less bulky, so it can be easy to come around and going up and down the stairs. I got so excited when I saw it on the Best Buy website, and more excited when I try it at home!

I love some of the features of this vacuum. I love that I can easily vacuum under beds and stairs. The only drawback is the head is run by suction and not a motor. Wish Dyson made a power head for this model.

I bought this to replace a dyson canister vac that finally broke after 10 years. This new design pivots on a giant ball and is not as stable as the old one initially; but works well once one gets used to it. This version also did not come with as many attachments as the previous version.

Replaced our old DC39 and it’s great. Easier to dump out, but still can be a little struggle across carpet, but don’t really have much carpet in the house. Also we sold our old dyson online for 50. Considering it was 8 years old people love these and it never lost suction

Not as awesome as I thought, but still a good vacuum. I wish it somehow stood upright but it doesn't, and I'm forced to just lay the hose and head on the ground next to the tank. I have several Dyson products and this is no exception to the quality.

This is a great vacuum. We had one in England but noticed that the suction power is a bit less than the ones compared to in the UK, perhaps due to the voltage. Overall it's a great vacuum. It automatically adjusts between carpet and floor. It's easy to put together and empty.

Replaced my last Dyson DC39 to only find out it was still under warranty. This unit works great so I decided to keep any way. Still got a new replacement from Dyson on the old one. What a great warranty. So awesome/

I have two huskies and with this vaccum you would never know it. Does a great job on hard wood and carpet alike. My on compliant is that it too strong for one of our thinner runners and ends up trying to suck the rug in.

As with all Dyson products the suction of the vacuum itself is great and the Dyson Big Ball Canister is no exception. The drawbacks however are big. First, the head design and extreme suction make it very difficult to use over carpet, especially long or shag. I am 6' 4" and 200lb and I find it hard to push. My wife can't do it all. In addition because there is little to no padding or quality wheels on the vacuum head itself, it can easily scratch your hardwood floors if any debris gets caught or stuck under the head. And last but not least it isn't very good with pet hair. It develops a high static charge which attracts hair to the head and hose of the vacuum like a magnet and the brush in the head needs to be de-tangled after almost every use. Bottom line is that for over $400 and with all of the Dyson hype the vacuum should perform a lot better.

I previously had an upright vacuum that I hated. This machine is lightweight with great results on all floor types. Also came with useful attachments that attach to the handle for easy access. I would highly recommend this machine.

Great vacuum lots of suction, I had a vacuum that had a powerhead so it is taking some getting use to because it does not have one. It does get up all the dog hair very well however.

A vacuum that seems like it’ll last! Dyson makes great innovative and quality products. Takes a bit getting used to dragging the ball around, but love the dirt capacity it holds compared to handhelds.

Great vacuum. It really sucks well and cleans floor no matter what surface it is. If it’s carpet or if it’s hard. Does a great job would buy again and would recommend.
