Clogs constantly and NOT worth the price. Get the original Dyson or another brand.

I wanted a vacuum that was lightweight and quieter because we have all tile floors. No carpet. Both of my very old vacuums broke at the same time. I checked the consumer reviews and was very pleased with my purchase. However, I did purchase an articulating hard floor tool. It made vacuuming even better.

Excellent product but disappointed that Bestbuy didn’t include free accessories that Dyson offers on its website. A hardwood floor attachment should be included

Never thought a vacuum was worth a couple hundred dollars....... this thing is amazing and absolutely worth every penny. Never found a vacuum that worked this well on our hardwood floor but this thing is everything I had hoped for and more.

Floor head wore out in 10months and never did really puck up dirt anyway Floor head is now scratching the hardwood

Bought this 6 months ago. Have used it twice per week since purchase. It does a good job picking up whatever is on the floor and is easy to empty. It is VERY loud and generates a slight burning smell. I have looked to make sure nothing is broken or jammed, found no issues, but there is still that smell. Went with this instead of the stick version because I needed more run time than the battery unit can provide.

This vacuum is the worst vacuum I have ever used. I had the Dyson upright and loved it, but when it was time to replace it we decided to try the canister, because we believed it would be more convenient. For starters, this vacuum does not have a power head, it is a suction head and so if the vacuum loses the slightest amount of suction the brush does not rotate. The hole which connects the floor attachment to the hose is slightly smaller than a marble so it constantly clogs. I have spent more time unclogging this vacuum than any other vacuum I've owned. This vacuum does not clean - it is a very expensive floor duster. We have cats so from time-to-time I will find small pieces of cat kibble on the floor - the vacuum does not pick it up. The list of things this vacuum does not pick up is seemingly endless, but here are a few examples: coffee grounds individual staples crushed egg shells, lint, small pieces of dried leaves in the fall small pieces of paper fine needles from artificial Christmas trees and garland bits of thread bits of wool dried flower petals tiny bits of mud from shoes I've tried vacuuming the cars with this vacuum, but it does not have the suction to pick up the tiny little pieces of lint that collect on the upholstery and floors. Basically, anything larger than sand or dust, this vacuum does not pick up. If you place the vacuum head right over the small item you are trying to vacuum up sometimes you will get lucky and it will pick it up, but if you vacuum up anything larger than a couple of pieces of cat food - the connection between the vacuum head and the hose gets clogged. I have had this vacuum since August 2018 and dread using it every time. I have unclogged it so many time the tip where you insert the screw driver to release the brush from the head is starting to wear. Last night I had enough of this over-priced, novelty item - I was decorating the house for Christmas and had remnants of artificial pine needles all over the floor - the vacuum clogged five times where the vacuum head attaches to the hose and twice where the hose attaches to the canister. After nearly 40 minutes of vacuuming and unclogging the vacuum, I finally dug our old $149 Canadian Tire Shark vacuum out of the storage room and had the floor clean in less than five minutes with no clogs. A $650 vacuum should at the very least be able to compete with a Canadian Tire $149 special. After the nightmare and waste of time I had last night trying to vacuum my living room - I finally had enough with this vacuum and I am dropping it off at the electronic recyclers. This was without a doubt the worst purchase I have ever made. I kept it for two years, because of the cost of it and I didn't want to throw away $650, but I literally cannot deal with this vacuum any longer. I really liked the Dyson upright - it was a bit heavy and cumbersome to use and it was very awkward to vacuum stairs, but it picked up everything I needed it to and it very, very rarely clogged. There is absolutely no comparison between the canister and the upright! I have called customer service and did all the trouble shooting tips, I washed the filter and then bought a replacement filter when that failed. If you have to vacuum more than dust from your floors - do not buy this vacuum. If you are insistent on purchasing a Dyson vacuum - go with the upright!

Love this vacuum. Fusing is the best. Have only had Dyson since Dyson came out.
