Hands down the best vacuum for people with pets, no cleaning of filter etc easy to use and many useful attachments. The best vacuum we have bought

It's expensive, but worth it. No doubt this vacuum is expensive, but I can easily vacuum my stairs now and I've vacuumed my ceiling fans and I get along the baseboards every time I vacuum now because it's so easy to do so. It really is worth the extra cost. The only downside: It really is disturbing to see how much dirt comes out of my carpet *every single time* I vacuum with this thing!

So I have 2 dog and 2 cat, also I have hardwood floor allover the house, so I need to clean the floor pretty much everyday, I have a Irobot roomba 880 for cleaning the downstair everyday, it works really good, but all my cats love playing upstairs so I need a vacuum with a good suction, then i did some research and picked this one, it really has very good suction, but i find out it is a little bit hard to turn and hard to stand too, it came with so many tools, i used one of the tool to clean the stair, it did good job too, it's not only picking up the hair no the floor also picking up the dust too. My roomba is good for daily cleaning but this one is for deep clean the whole house. i love it. but it is over price though

This is a vey good vacuum cleaner and picks up dirt and animal hair well. One nice thing is you don't have to change any filters on the unit. The only downside is the weight of the unit and price.

It's a bit heavy but it has powerful suction! There's no place you can't reach with all the extensions and fun attachments. The bag makes it easy for me to carry them around. It sucks up all our pets hair and there's no dust blowing around while I vacuum. I especially love not having any filters to clean. ROAR

I love this Vacuum. I had my first Dyson for about 10 years. It worked flawlessly, but it was time for new and improved. This new one has a much better suction/pick-up performance. The only thing I have an issue with us that the canister is a bit small. The dirt circles as it enters but with my cat hair, it seems to clog up faster than my old Dyson. I dump the can each time I use it but I always have to disconnect the clear plastic housing from the filter part to completely dump the dirt. It's annoying, especially when they could have made the canister 50% larger!! But I do love the performance. I love the pull out hose and all the attachments. Great buy. Highly recommend.

I decided to get a nice vacuum due to my daughter's allergies. Best Buy offered this Dyson at a very competitive price. The Dyson does it's job as a vacuum, but whenever I drop the handle to actually use it I feel as though I'm going to break it. I've watched a ton of YouTube videos to see if there is an "art" to it, but none of the others seem to have this exact problem. I'm hopeful I won't have any problems with it. Suction is great and it picked up dirt my old vacuum left behind. I would recommend to a friend if available at a discount.

Dyson's Animal + Allergy is an awesome vacuum. The suction is strong and gets more dirt out of the carpet then my previous vacuum. It was easy to assemble. The best attachment for me is the extension of the hose to be able to reach the top of the stairs with the vacuum at the bottom of the stairs. Extra accessories came with it but haven't used all of them yet. It is easy to empty the dirt into a plastic bag for disposal.

I have killed so many vacuum cleaners, it's ridiculous. (I have long hair and shed more than my dog.) Being my vacuum is not an easy job. But so far, this one seems to do the trick - and then some. In fact, the only negative I see is that getting the Dyson made me aware of how much filth my other vacuums were NOT picking up! I love it so far and really enjoy the no-tangle / deep cleaning pet attachment.

I enjoy using my Dyson. There are various attachments for every job. I like the suction power and long cord. I also like the bagless system. My only suggestion is for Dyson to find a way to keep the dust contained when the cylinder is opened to release the dirt. I tried securing the cylinder opening in a plastic grocery bag before opening and it helped contain the dust. Also, when I vacuum long human hair, it gets wrapoed around the brush. I then need to cut it out with scissors. Overall, great product.

Frankly, I thought it was a lot of hype but turns out that this is a great great product. This is the only machine that really helped me with my stairs. The attachment for the stair cleaning is a excellent and it is the best tool to pick up and shred hair. Love the flexibility of moving surface to surface. The suction is great and the design very well thought of and this vacuum works with you and not against you as a lot of the others do. Easy use. Defenitely a "Best Buy" of the year.

Overall this was a good purchase, but it has a few downsides. I previously had the animal compact version and upgraded to this machine. I couldn't believe how much stuff got picked up after the first time I used it. In comparison, I think it traps a lot more pet hair, human hair, dirt and dust. I have long hair and it seems to do a great job at picking it up from the bathroom floor. I will say however, that I feel like this machine catches more of my hair in the floor beater bar than in the canister - this makes cleaning the floor beater bar a bit of a priority. The pros - 1) it has a really long cord and hose which makes cleaning an open floor layout a breeze, 2) emptying the canister seems to be easier on this machine (I feel like it’s easier to prevent dust from going everywhere); and 3) it comes with all of the allergy tools. My one big complaint is the machine's weight. I'm a small woman (about 5'2) and carrying this vacuum up and down my stairs has been difficult. I wouldn't recommend this product if you have stairs and are unable to carry the machine without injuring yourself. Also, I find the add-on allergy tools don't maintain the same level of suction. I use one of the tools a ton to get pet hair off of things, but I feel like the suction power isn't carried through when you are using all of the tools, the reach tool is one in particular that I don't feel has a ton of power. I also hate the bag the tools came in - it’s a great idea to include a bag, but really Dyson for $800 you couldn't have put a zipper on the bag? You’ll find that as you go from room to room with tools in hand that they will fall out of the bag if you aren't careful. I will concede that the bag is deep, but I feel like a zipper would have made the bag a lot better and would make storing all the tools easier at the end of the day. I ended up going to a craft store and putting my own zipper on the bag.

I had my doubts but after using this vacuum I'm sold for life. Its so easy to put together and pretty light weight. The center handle makes it easy to carry up and down stairs instead of having to hold it at the top. The ball makes it super easy to move around. The first time I used it I had to empty the container not even half way through. It was clearly picking up way more dirt and dusk than my old one. No bag or filter to replace. Very much worth the value.

I have been a fan of dyson, I bought this because my old air muscle reached it's end of life ;-) I have dc39 canister as well, but Cinetic Big Ball Animal upright has much better hardcore suction and cleaning. dc39 helps keep the carpet clean later. but every 1 to 2 weeks I use this Cinetic Big Ball Animal for full cleaning. Bottom line I LOVE DYSON!!! :-)

This vacuum works very well. It will pull up almost all of the dust and dirt on most surfaces. It is well designed and functions fantastically. There are a few things that need improvement in future versions such as the fact that bagless vacuum canisters do not contain dust as well as bags do when dumping the cannister in the trash can. It is not a perfect vacuum but it does the job better than many others and is priced a little high for vacuum.

I originally purchased the compact size pet Dyson, but was concerned with the small canister size so immediately exchanged it for the full size. It works great! I first vacuumed with my old Eureka (dog and cat hair) and then followed with my new Dyson. It picked up so much more pet hair and dander that my old vacuum left behind. It is on the heavier side. I would not recommend this size vacuum if you have to carry it up and down stairs often.

When the kids insisted that they would vacuum more often if we had a better vacuum cleaner, well, we bought the Dyson. It comes with several attachments that are very useful, especially the one that cuts the long hair as is sucks it in. The suction power is amazing! The mobility is quite impressive too. I love that the kids now vacuum without being asked!

Amazing! Easy to use. Lots of easy attachments. Rady to clean. Amazing suction. Gets really deep into carpet. Picks up an insane amount of dust and pet hair. I have had several vacuums, and this is the best by far! Worth every cent!!

This ball Dyson vacuum cleaner makes it easy to move around objects. The suction is very good, it picks up lots of dirt from your carpets. The ball really does make this vacuum easy to maneuver. Lots of attachments come with this version. It is pretty quite for a vacuum cleaner, yes it still makes noise but over all it is pretty muted. I would recommend this Dyson to others.

I finally see what all the Rave is about this Vacuum has been a hit its super light, easy to use and the floors look great. It really gets in the hard to reach areas and grabs pet hair like you wouldn't believe. I'm not sure how I ever lived without it. My favorite features 1. Easy to clean 2. Push button switch for hardwood floor mode is up high no bending over 3. really cleans the carpet and 4. My kids like to use it.
