This vacuum cleaner's suction is intense! It is perfect for getting out all of the pet hair from our carpets. However, it does not do well on Ruggables. When we use it over the rugs, the suction wants to pull up the rug as well!

This is the first Dyson I have owned and now I wish I would have bought one before. So well worth the money!.

I have used many vacuums over the years because I have three dogs finding a vacuum that did not hold a bad smell over time due to pet hair has been difficult. This vacuum is great because it does not hold pet odors. It picks up pet hair easily on floors, rugs and furniture.

This vacuum does in fact work wonders with picking up pet hair and allergens! I love the additional vacuum accessories as well. With two pets (one being extra furry and fluffy) I have no problems keeping my couch and carpet fur free.

It is an awesome vacuum cleaner. Cleans up the cat hair in my house which is why I bought it.

A little heavier than I thought it would be, but I really like it. Great suction and easy to clean. Have always had brands with water in the bowls so this was an adjustment, but I dump and rinse after every use and so far, so good!

I knew the apartment we moved into needed cleaning, but this vacuum picks up way more than I even imagined. I was amazed at what was in the canister after it's first use. Emptying and cleaning the canister is simple and with no mess.

Absolutely worth every penny. Tired of buying other vacuums and ended up picking this up. Works better than any unit Ive ever used.

I Love the Dyson i had burned through a Hoover, Kenmore, And a Oreck and they all clogged, i was down to using a shop vac, but not the Dyson. The first day i got it i filled the bin twice in just the living room, but the Dyson animal cut through the hair and dirt like hot knife through butter.

This is really a great vacuum, does extremely, extremely well on carpet. The issue is on hard wood. It does a great job in actually picking up dirt and dust, it's just that it's so hard to maneuver. Because the ball is rubber, turning it on hard floors is very difficult. You have to go backward and forward, rather than just pivot, to turn. On carpet, that's not a problem.

Great vacuum! Dyson never disappoints me and always is great quality!

I am very pleased with Dysons suction and cleaning capabilities. Although my first Dyson somehow won't stand up on its own, less then 2 years old, annoying as heck. Now my brand new Dysons wheel squeaks and is annoying and obviously shouldn't be doing this, but I still love their products.

We have 3 dogs. 3 big labs. That equals a lot of hair. I was both amazed and appalled when I saw what this vacuum cleaner was pulling up out of the carpet. We had a decent vacuum cleaner before, but it does not compare to the Dyson animal. It actually makes me want to vacuum.

I really like this vacuum cleaner as it is quite powerful and has picked up a lot more animal hair than any of my prior vacuums have. It is a little stiffer than some of the other Dysons and you need to get used to working with the large ball in turning but you just have to be smart about it. Gave it 4 stars just because of maneuverability. Otherwise it is definitely a 5.

I like how it’s easy to maneuver around it not heavy and the suction on it is really good

I have had other vacuums before but none cleaned my floors like this Dyson! When I first ran it over my carpet I had to empty the cup out every few minutes because it picked up so much more than my old Oreck. My carpets look like new now. Only con is that it's heavy at 18lbs.

This is our second Dyson vacuum and I would never go back to another brand. It's amazing the amount of dirt this vacuum picks up and never looses suction over time. I just love the ball technology! So much more maneuverability compared to my previous non-ball Dyson. Just love it!

This is a powerful vacuum that does the job well. It is easy to handle and maneuver. When finished vacuuming, it is easy to remove the particles from the unit and throw away. The vacuum is a bit expensive, but the vacuum's performance makes this a good purchase for me.

This machine is amazing. I empty the canister completely before I vacuum a room. It picks up more dust and dirt that you realize exists in your home. I am continuously amazed at the power and what it removes from the carpets. Great for pet hair.
