Picked this up on a massive sale. Very happy I did. Very powerful. Some have said too powerful for drapes etc, but I like the power. It’s both kind of gross and at the same time satisfying to pull all the junk out my carpets I thought I was getting with my battery powered Dyson. If you are considering this model make sure you understand that it has quirks. 1. The lack of filters is treated as a feature. It is, and it isn’t. In the case of this one it means the bin is only half the size it looks like it is. See my photo. Why? Because the fill line is absolutely NOT a suggestion. It is RED for a reason. The fill line on others is not. I wouldn’t even risk approaching it based on the reports from others who’ve had their motors burn out. And the instructions that come with this model reinforce this. 2. This vacuum cannot be used on fine particulate in large quantities ( drywall dust, too much pet/people dander). This relates back the lack of filters. Debris is separated via suction, not any sort of physical barrier. Dust can accumulate over time and lead to issues. If you have a lot of pets, like to woodwork and use your house vacuum to pick up any amount of drywall dust I’d suggest a different model. 3. I believe Dyson knows that they over engineered this model in the name of innovation, which has led to half of the dust bin acting as a pseudo air filter via standoff volume instead of just having a filter that never really gets that dirty to begin with. I’ve heard that this model is (or is going to be) discontinued and I’d bet it because of returns from consumers who use this like any other vacuum and fill it to the brim. 4. It’s huge and sometimes awkward to move in tight spaces. All that being said, Best Buy had an offer I didn’t refuse and I’m prepared to baby this vacuum and hope to get many years from it.

I've owned numerous vacuums over the years, and this is by far the BEST one I've ever purchased. The suction is phenomenal, and emptying the collector is a breeze! I was skeptical of the whole bagless/filterless claim, but it's very much true. My wife is the proud owner of TWO dusty and furry housecats, who both insist on shedding everywhere. The incredible amount of dirt, dust, hair, and debris that we collected on the first day of use was astonishing. It almost grossed me out to know that our previous vacuum left all of this crud beneath us. We also purchased the pet hair attachment, and it works as expected. We've been using it quite frequently over the past few weeks, and I'm happy to announce we haven't lost ANY suction. I'm definitely a fan, and regret not making this purchase sooner.

Dyson vacuum are great vacuum. I got this from Bestbuy during their sale. It is a powerful vacuum and does an excellent cleaning but it’s a little bit bulky. Personally it is just right for me but if your looking for a lighter one, this is not for you. Overall its a premium vacuum and for the price i got during Bestbuy sale i am happy with my purchase.

Second Dyson vacuum I've owned. First one was the little animal one with the purple ball. Still going strong after 7yrs. Finally I could upgrade to the bigger one. Used it today and it didn't let me down.

The Dyson vacuum works great, but my rating is low only because of the Best Buy website info: The Best Buy website claims the vacuum I purchased has a "retractable cord". I mostly bought it for that reason because none of other Dyson vacuums were listed as having a "retractable cord", so I bought that one. It does NOT have a "retractable cord". But I kept it anyway because the price was good.

Super easy to use vacuum, glides like a dream on any surface and has excellent suction power, very easy to disassemble for cleaning the brush and anything else, my only complaint is that it doesn’t lock in the upright position like other vacuums so you can move it around on just the back wheels, so when u move it you have to pick it up Also very pricey I would only get them on a good deal but it is a forever vacuum

Overall performance and features are good. The suction is good and ease of emptying and low noise are positives. However, it is a heavy vacuum and a lot of plastic for this price point.

I got this during Quarantine 2020. I needed something for deep Spring Cleaning and my broom and dust pan weren't cutting it. I mean, we have a basic vacuum that has a rechargeable battery, but ain't nobody got time for that! So I decided to make an adult purchase because I need a reliable, strong, dependable...vaccum. This thing has alllll the attachments one needs for sucking up all dust from your shutters, window tracks, sofas, chairs, floors (duh), even one's car if you really wanted to. The sofa was really therapeutic to clean. It got in between the nooks and crannies, you know what I mean...the crumbs, the hair and even loose change. The point is, I love this thing. It sucks up all bad and even filters the air that it pushes out for all us allergy sufferers out there. I don't regret buying this one bit. Consider it an investment piece and I promise you won't be sorry.

The vacuum and tools work for their intended purpose better than most modern vacuum cleaners. There is plenty of suction and works well on flat and hard surfaces. It is possibly a good option for those with allergies, since the bagless, filter free, HEPA design removes so many particulates and fibers even on thick carpeting. However, it is so powerful that it can ruin certain rugs and even remove fibers from carpeting (like a lint catch in an electronic clothes dryer). It works well for pet hair and dander too. However, at this price point, I would expect a little bit better construction and design. The technology is definitely there, but all the parts are plastic and the electrical cord is stiff and difficult to manage. I am glad I purchased the Best Buy extended warranty on this machine and the one I returned prior to this machine. I returned an older model, Dyson Ball vacuum, because the ball began to have rolling and maneuverability issues. It did not turn and roll well on hard surfaces. I had that particular vacuum for approximately 5 years before it started to have issues. Best Buy's customer service is excellent, especially if one purchases the extended warranty. At this price point, these vacuums should last much more than five years. If I have the same problem with the Cinetic Big Ball, I likely will never purchase another Dyson vacuum, unless it is still covered by the warranty. My opinion is that Dyson should be providing a much better manufacturer warranty, likely 7 to 10 years from date of purchase. A purchase of this type really depends on what you are willing to spend and what your expectations might be from a vacuum.

Haven't had an issue with any of the past three just have worked our way up the chain over the last 15 years from a starter model (which far exceeded any past vacuums including a rainbow) to a larger model and now finally we have our first full size with full motion swivel ball Dyson vacuum. This thing pulls dirt out our carpets that was probably there from the prior owners. Emptied the canister full of fine particles of dust/dirt/dog hair in just doing half of our 1500 square foot home after house was vacuumed earlier that week. Very impressed and while they have a 5 year warranty we haven't had to every use it on any of the prior two vacuums. This one also comes with extra attachments that my wife really likes.

For years we have talked about getting a Dyson vacuum. April 18, 2020, the Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Total Clean was on sale at Best Buy. We got it and love it. The swivel on the cleaning head is great. It picks up really great, easy to empty, clean and maneuver . The noise level is so much better then my old upright Hoover vac. Ready to pass my old vacuum on to someone else. Thankful my husband kept insisting we try one. I give it a 5 star.

This is an awesome piece of technology. We were replacing a Shark that we used two to three times per week in our downstairs living area. After setting this vacuum up and using it for the first time, we filled 65% of the canister with debris from our carpet and hardwood flooring. 65% PERCENT PEOPLE, it was like we hadn't vacuumed in a month! If you have the resources to purchase this vacuum - you will be so glad you did! It is a little hard to push because of the tremendous suction but man it cleans like nobody's' business...

Mind the puns, this vacuum is powerful, heavy, and cleans like nothing I've ever owned. I highly recommend it over wireless solutions if you have a large space to clean. Do your homework before buying, I did and so far I'm very happy with this purchase. It has a big ball and I drag it all over my place. It sucks up everything and cleans up after my dogs just fine.

I was quite surprised at how much dirt, pet hair and other material the vacuum was able to pick up. Having a bagless vacuum with this much power is fantastic and the accessories, such as the extended tube that lets you vacuum an entire staircase is very helpful. I bought it on sale - I am not sure I would pay the full asking price.

This is a must have for pets, and high traffic friends and family visits. This vacuum seemed to even start to give life to the carpet. What I mean by that is, the lift came back to the carpet. I don't ever have to worry about changing any filters and removing the trash from the container is as easy as pushing a button. The vacuum itself is very light compared to other vacuums, and the power is unmatchable. The vacuum never loses suction and with the 3 year protection plan, I ensure durability and longevity. This is definitely an investment that paid off as soon as I vacuumed the floor and realized how much dirt was still left from other vacuums and how much cats shed hair. Get yours now!!!

great vacuum. strong suctions and great on carpets. i was also able to use it on my kitchen floor and does a great job picking up everything! easy set-up and cleaning but would prefer a disposable filter bag. regardless, this a a great vacuum overall.

Exceptional Vacuum. The suction, power, ease of use and great accessories make this the best vacuum I have ever owned. Dyson lives up to all of the hype. Although more expensive is well worth the price.

It’s a shame I hear Dyson is doing away with its corded line. This vacuum is a bit heavy but very powerful. It needs to be emptied way too often while using it but it’s not a deal breaker when compared to the ease of use and efficacy.

I previously had a Dyson Animal. The Big Ball is an upgrade. For starters, there’s only one filter to clean, a wider variety of attachments, and greater suction. Only downside is that it is significantly heavier.
