This vacuum has picked up dirt that my 10 year old Dyson had missed. I had to vacuum the house with this one 5 or 6 times before it had picked up all the old embedded dust and dirt. It has great suction, is easy to maneuver, easy dirt disposal. It automatically changes the head from carpet to floor, and there is a separate switch to shut off the roller head when vacuuming non-carpeted flooring. It comes with 2 attachments: a combination crevice tool and brush, and a upholstery brush. I ordered separately a longer soft brush, which is great for dusting baseboards and venetian blinds. It's a little larger than our old Dyson, and the using the ball style takes some getting used to, but after 4 or 5 times, it'll seem natural.

This is our third Dyson and it’s amazing. Dyson products are top notch and the only reason why this is our third is because we have one for the upstairs, one for the downstairs, and an older one that we sold when we upgraded to this vacuum. They don’t lose suction and the suction is so much better than other vacuums. This one is particular is amazing. The amount of dirt you get out of your floors is insane. This is by far the best Dyson we’ve owned and it outperforms the one we keep downstairs. I would recommend to all.

We have dogs. I don't know what else to say. We have been a graveyard for vacuum cleaners - and have tried so many brands its ridiculous. So far, this one has stood up the best - despite our best efforts at choking it with fur that could stuff a mattress on a monthly basis, it has laughed at us and our futile attempts to send it to the vacuum afterlife. It's very nimble at getting into corners and small spaces. It is heavier than some that's true, but it certainly cleans up the floor well, and thats exactly what it's designed to do.

Great performance in a vacuum cleaner, great suction, cleans carpets really well. Only drawback is the high price. even at 50% off it was still over $300.

We have been Dyson's brand customers for many years. Love their products. This cinetic big ball total clean was purchase to replace our DC7 Animal which still works. Our DC41 Animal still works great so I bringing it to our second floor and leaving this big ball total clean down stairs. This machine is heavy and very powerful. Does not glide as easily as the DC41 (I guess it is because of the weight). The cord is softer and it does not twist. For other Dyson vacuums, I have to untwist since I leave the cords unwind (vacuums constantly due to our fur babies shedding.)

My parents have a Dyson and I used it. At first I didn't care for it but then got use to it and starting to search for one for our house. Finally I got it on sale and couldn't believe how much it picked up dirt. Our house is kid free just have a small dog. We filled up the canister. Love the way it turns corners and does deep cleaning. Attachments are a plus. I'm waiting for the upholstery tool to go on sale. It's best to empty the canister after use so it can suction at its capacity. No regrets buying a expensive vacuum

I was a little worried about having to assemble the vacuum, but the assembly was quite simple. The vacuum has great suction and does a far better job cleaning the carpets than the vacuum I replaced it with. The ball design took a little getting used to, but now that I am used to it I do like it. My old vacuum had 3 different filters I was constantly cleaning, so I am happy there are no filters to clean on this unit.

I purchased this vacuum because our current vacuum, we've had for years, has always been heavy to take up and downstairs and it was on the Deal of the Day for 50% off. I've always heard that Dyson's were great but I didn't imagine it would clean so well. Before i used it for the first time, I cleaned the carpet with my existing vacuum. I then immediately used the Dyson and WOW. The canister was half full. I'm now convinced, Dyson Cinetic big ball is great.

I bought this Dyson because my other Dyson DC17 died after 15 years of usage. I got this model during a "Deal of the Day" sale. Price was good (almost 1/2 off) and the reviews were good too. Ok now for the review. Pros: With a big ball, this model was easier to maneuver and the sucking power was on-par. Smaller than my previous Dyson. Cons: This thing is heavy and lifting it was a chore. My old Dyson didn't feel so heavy. If it wasn't for the weight issue, I would give it 5 stars. So if you are thinking of buying one of these Dyson vacuums, go to your nearest Best Buy and try out the models before buying.

An absolute performer , a great amount of extensions and very easy to clean. The only con I find is the plastic used on the handle does feel cheap and bendable.

This vacuum performs very well on floor or carpet; Level is adjusted to auto. Sometimes it takes extra force to change the direction the vacuum moves. It is not easy to empty the cleaning bin; the cover opens only for 90 degree and it is not convenient to empty the cleaning bin . There is no hook to hold the wire when the vacuum is in use. Most of the vacuums have a hook. Instructions should be more detailed. Vacuum is heavy and after vacuuming the entire house it will feel like a workout. It is also difficult to secure the vacuum back into its upward position.

Great price 1/2 off the regular price and very powerful,low maintenance,nice long cord. A little heavy but if anything should go wrong from past experience once on my old Dyson vacuum they sent the part for free. I’m very happy with Dyson.

Anything you've heard about Dyson vacuums will not prepare you for the fantastic results you'll have. My carpets look like they've been given a life; and changing from floors to carpet is a breeze. The tools are easy to use - the only thing I wish was that they all could be on board but the ones that are not on board are ones seldom used so it's not too much of an inconvenience.

I have a very old Dyson animal vacuum and although the motor is great some of parts need to be replaced but some you can not find. I bought this Cinetic Dyson vacuum and I am so happy that I did. I wanted the new Animal but this was such a deal I bought this and wow!! The suction and the ease of use. Highly recommend!!!! No regrets. When buying Dyson make sure to register your product with Dyson.

Bought this as a Mother's Day Gift. She absolutely loves it, and I am thrilled @ the deal I got. She is getting used to some of the workings, but the suction is amazing & it's so much easier to use than her old Eureka. The Manuals/Instructions are a bit Minimalist, but so is the Product. I love all the Auto Adjustments & Quick Latches to open the Brush Head Assembly.

I’ve owned Dyson vacuum cleaners in the past and honestly wasn’t impressed for the money I spent. I decided to give Dyson one more chance based on the reviews if this model and the fact that the deal of the day had it at 50% off. After cleaning one 5 x 6 area of carpet I had to empty the canister. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I have carpet in three bedrooms and a den and filled up the canister six times between them. Dyson hit a home run with this one. Best vacuum I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned ALOT. I honestly would’ve been happy with this vacuum head I paid full price and I NEVER pay full price! Several reviewer’s complained about it not standing upright and I had this problem initially but if you listen for the second click when you push in the handle before you walk away it will stay up right every time.

This is the second Dyson vacuum cleaner we have purchased. I do not have very strong arms, and have searched for a vacuum where I can push it and manipulate it without much stress on my shoulders. This vacuum cleaner works extremely well in that regard and has a very strong ability to pull up stuff from the carpet. I really like these vacuums!

Best vacuum I've ever had thus far. Picks up 99% of everything I could see visually and then some (looked at carpet closely before and after vacuuming). Strong suction makes for tons of dust and debris in the bagless container. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars however is due to the mechanism responsible for redirecting suction from the hose to the cleaner head when you use it. When I unlock it from upright to carpet use there is a mechanism located in the undercarriage housing that redirects suction from hose to cleaner head. Mine seems to not be working 100% since I continue to experience suction in the hose instead of the cleaning head when I unlock it from upright. I have to physically give the mechanism a push to fully engage the cleaning head suction. Everything else is great about the vacuum cleaner though. I would still recommend it to others.

Love the no filter cleaning on the Big Ball. Great suction and bigger dust bin.Con is: Still has the short extension wand for high cleaning. Little short to maneuver easily. But the wand isn’t why you buy this vacuum. You but it for power, ease of use and enjoyment. It’s satisfying getting every piece of dirt up. Dyson is the top of the vacuum game.
