I love this vacuum, I have a ton of carpet on my home and a dog who sheds so I needed a heavy duty vacuum. It picks up dirt and hair so easily. The best part is that it doesn’t need a bag or filter with how it works. My only downside of this product is the weight. It’s quite heavy but I love how it works too much to not use it. If you need a work horse this is for you !

I didn't know how big and heavy this vacuum cleaner was until I had to clean our basement and our 1st and 2nd floor. But I like it; it has strong aspiration and works good on carpet and wood floors. It takes a little bit of attention managing the driving during cleaning but I will get used to. I only started using it this week; first time.
I recommend it for large areas to be cleaned.

My last vacuum was a Dyson Animal we are talking I have had it for 14 yrs with yearly maintenance and a couple of fixes but best vac ever. Until .... This Big Ball is amazing! When I say it sucks I mean it! I have 4 dogs and alot of hair and this thing leaves nothing behind. Now the first time i used it i was in shock i vacuum daily and i had to empty the canister like 3 times just from the living room! Just a awesome vacuum. Takes a bit of getting used to the manuverability but wow so happy with this purchase.

Not as easy to roll around the house without it falling down into the vacuum position and it’s heavy. It does well on vacuuming the carpet but the dust cup seems smaller than my old Dyson. Haven’t quite got the hang of retracting the hose back onto the machine either after using. Glad I got this as a daily deal at Best Buy. Not worth the $599 full price point.

I picked this vacuum up on a Deal of the Day for 50% off. Having wanted a Dyson for years but not wanting to pay the higher price associated, this was a good opportunity to get one.
It does a nice job, but I don't think it's worth the premium price if you're not buying on a good sale. The cord is longer than most vacuums I've had, which is nice, and it has a long hand wand extension that fit's nicely into the handle when not needed. This works great for stairs or getting into places the vacuum won't fit.
The signature Dyson ball design is ok, but I find it somewhat hard to control when trying to use it to get around corners. The back wheels tend to move up on sharper turns and this starts to turn off the vacuum. Maybe I just need more practice using it. It's not as effortless as it's made out to be in my opinion.
The construction seems a bit cheap considering the premium price. Was expecting a more premium feel, but it doesn't feel any better made than the Hoover vacuums I've had in the past.
Overall, it's a nice vacuum and does a nice job on the floors, and has some useful features not on a lot of vacuums, but I wouldn't buy one at full price I don't think. Catch it when on sale and I think you'll be satisfied.

I've owned different vacuums over the years, and this is by far the best one I've ever purchased. The suction is so powerful, and emptying the collector is a breeze! I was skeptical of the whole bagless/filterless claim, but it's very much true. I love it.

Good Overall Upright Vacuum!

This is my first Dyson vacuum and a replacement for my Hoover upright vacuum that I've owned for about 3+ years. Although this is quite expensive for a vacuum and definitely more money than I'm willing to spend on a vacuum in general, I figured I would give the Dyson brand a try since I keep hearing about how great their products, especially vacuums are. First, the packaging is definitely more premium than some of the other brands of vacuums I've purchase in the past (e.g. it comes with a handle to carry the box). Second, the instructions were easy for the most part so assembly wasn't complicated. Third, I would say that this particular model has good suction, however, it doesn't seem to be that much better than my Hoover that I've owned for the past 3+ years of which this vacuum is replacing. I think the main reason(s) to get this vacuum are 1) the Dyson name 2) Dyson reliability, and 3) Dyson durability. In my opinion, if you have disposable income for a vacuum that costs $500+ but don't mind getting average/above average performance, then I recommend giving this unit a try!

Decided to upgrade our vacuum to a Dyson, will never look back! This thing works so great! It works really great! It’s very powerful and love how clean it gets the carpet, it makes a huge difference to use this over our previous vacuum.

This will be our second Dyson vacuum. Now that we have carpets in all the rooms, we needed something bigger than the v8 animal Dyson. It’s a little heavy but the suction is powerful. It doesn’t tip over when using the hose so that’s good. You can’t go wrong with a Dyson.

It's a Dyson so I don't think you can go wrong. I love mine. It has better suction than any other vacuum I've owned and is easy to use. I especially love the fact it has no filters to clean or replace and is super easy to dump the large capacity dust bin.

I love this vacuum. It has great suction, I have thick carpet and it is very easy to move & does and amazing job. Very easy to empty the dust bin and it has a long cord.
The only complaint that I have found is I wish the hose attachment was a little longer,

This is my third style of Dyson vacuum cleaner. I have been using them to vacuum my dogs’ hair for many years and all of them work very well. All have powerful suction and I love that they were all bagless and easy to clean. Glad I bought this one in sell.

Probably best vacuum we have every used. Some of the things that stand our are: really good suction, works great along the edges of walls, and the wand extends very far so you don't have to lug the vacuum around when using the wand. I would not buy at the full price, but on sale it was a good deal!

I've always wanted a Dyson and I finally purchased one. This machine is everything they've stated over the years and more. Easy to use and very efficient. It picks up all kinds of mess and especially dog hair. I'm very pleased and excited to have one.

I’ve already been a Dyson upright user for over 15yrs. I want to try any cinetic model. This is so powerful. I feel extra soft on the carpet which is in the over 20yrs house after dyson. One thing is this is little heavy cause it’s a big ball.

This is our second Dyson, and I am extremely satisfied with the cleaning power of this vacuum. We have had other vacs in the past, and they have never been as good at cleanings as the Dyson’s have been.
It’s been real nice having the extra attachments readily and easily available as I clean. I don’t have to stop the vac to switch in the wand to get one part of the room, then switch out the wand to get the rest.
I always thought the Dysons were too expensive, but with the way cheap vacs break down, the Dyson has more than pays for itself in the long run.
Then why a second Dyson? Because I have a child who permanently borrowed my first one, and I don’t think it will ever be returned :(. I just hope this one ends up being the same workhorse as our first one.

I got a great deal on this vacuum, so I hoped it lived up to the Dyson reputation. It does and it is one of the best vacuums I ever used. Excellent suction and good grip on carpet. Very easy to use. Not as quiet as I've been told by others about it, but it doesn't sound like a jet engine either. Good buy all around.

We registered for a Dyson 15 years ago for a wedding gift. More joke than anything else. Who is going to spend that much on a vacuum right? Needless to say we did not get it.
Fast Forward to 2020. We have purchased 7 vacuums in that time, none where a Dyson and none lasted more than two year. (we have a big very sheddy dog) We purchased a Dyson as a deal of the day and love it.
DID NOT KNOW IT HAS A 5 YEAR PARTS AND LABOR WARENTY!!
We took advantage of this Deal of The Day purchase so we could have one up stairs (ok, so I am a little lazy) but after trying it upstairs where we have carpet I permanently retired our 1.5 year old vacuum that we had sent up stairs when we got our first.
Our downstairs is all wood, the bedrooms upstairs are carpet and hands down best vac on any surface I have ever used.

This is my third dyson. It is more powerful than my last one and cleans my pet hair and dust really well. The only downside I see so far is that it is a bit heavy for me. The wand works well but is cumbersome when on stairs. Hose alone does not seem to have the same power. Still happy with it though.

I like this vacuum but I don’t love it. It has great suction but it’s so heavy that it’s hard to maneuver it in any room. I have cats and dogs, so I accumulate lots of pet hair. After vacuuming everything I have to flip it over and cut all the hair off the roller. It’s a serious pain to do this every time I vacuum.
