This vacuum cleaner has good suction and is still glides well on the carpet. It maneuvers well and cleans all the way up against the wall. I haven't used the attachments yet but have used this on both carpet and tile floors with good success. Easy to empty and clean cannister as well. I will wait and see how long it lasts, that is my main concern, since its all plastic.

The name speaks for itself. Very quiet and extremely powerful. Get one and you'll be amazed.

We like this vaccum because it has power and it is so easy to clean it. It is also easy to handle.

I have had this for almost a year. The first one had an issue since the dust basket can crush the rubber lining if you aren't careful. Has not been an issue at all with the replacement, but if you arent careful you could smush it and ruin the seal which is pretty important in a vacuum. Overall really great, got on deal of day for only $300 which is $200 more than I thought I would ever spend on a vacuum but worth it!

Purchased this item on sale. I like and trust Dyson products. When I used it for the 1st time I was amazed at how much more effective it was than the one I had. The one I had was a good one and nothing was wrong with it. I just got the Dyson because of the sale price and I just wanted It. To my surprise Ibmade the right decision.

It cleans the carpet very well, I have had 3 sharks before this Dyson and the Dyson performs a superior clean up. The Sharks were more ergonomic and easy to use. The Dyson's hose attachment is cumbersome and the attachments for the hose were a bit disappointing. I like that there is no disgusting filter, but you are limited on what you can vacuum, for instance cat litter dust is not advised to clean up with this vacuum.

This is the 4th Dyson vacuum we've had. The vacuum has strong suction and is maneuverable. Needs to be emptied often. They improved this one by eliminating the need to clean a filter. A downside.... buy an extended warranty! The previous Dyson died about a week before the extended warranty we bought on the last one (4 years). The cost of this unit was covered through that warranty. Glad we purchased it!

Great vacuum great suction and picks up everything upgrade from the smaller canister I had

This vacuum is awesome. We got it half off on the deal of the day and it's worth every penny of 300. I'm not sure that I'd pay 600 but if you catch it on sale, it's a definite great buy. Used it to vacuum the cars and house after using our older $200 vacuum and the difference in the dirt pulled out is insane. My allergies are much better now as well.

This vacuum has better suction & way quieter then our other vacuum

Our Shark vacuum failed after 5 years, so we bought this Dyson. I’m glad we did. So far this Dyson has powerful suction over all surfaces, leaving them cleaner than before. I had to get used to it’s tilt back operation, but it’s almost too easy. Emptying the cylinder is as simple as can be. I love this vacuum, and I’d highly recommend it!
