I have 2 Dyson vacuums. I bought this for my daughter in law since they were moving into a new home, much bigger than before. They only had run of the mill vacuums. I knew they needed a Dyson. Cleaning was great on carpet and tile floors. And no filter cleaning!!! I may get them another one for use only on the 2nd floor.

...Up all the dirt, dust, dog hair and whatever else it comes in contact with. No bags to replace makes it even sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeter! Buy one now! Yes...NOW! Very highly recommended! Trust me. I know what I'm doin' when I'm reviewin'.

Overall this vacuum appears to be made from high quality components. The directions are very easy to follow for easy set up. It's very easy to use, takes a little bit to get used to the ball drive (it makes it a little unstable when using). This is a small thing though and you will get used to it quickly. Highly recommended vacuum.

I wasn't certain how well I would like to "rotating" ball and I have to admit that it was an adjustment. But now when I sweep, I know what to expect and it does not disappoint. Picks up well even along edges. It holds a lot before I have to empty and keeps picking up well. I am very pleased.

Just a little heavy, but works super great! I love using it!

Bought this on sale for $299 and I couldn't be happier!. This thing is extremely powerful! I love that this vacuum will never lose suction power and that I never have to replace a filter anymore. However, my only complaint is that the handle feels flimsy or has a cheap feel to it. Hopefully, this vacuum will last a long time.

I really love this vacuum. This Dyson isn’t only nice to look at, it also works impressively. Compared to my previous vacuums, this thing has great amount of power. It comes with a variety of accessories and seems to be of very high quality. I am quite pleased to finally own one of these.

This is my 3rd Dyson. My first 2 are still going strong, but I gave them to my children when they bought their first homes. This model is living up to my expectations. It is lightweight and has powerful suction. I have used it daily since purchasing it, and could not be happier with it.

I love the Dyson products especially their vacuums. I've purchased 2 in the last 6 years and just upgraded to the cinetic big ball. The only thing I dislike about this one compared to the small ball is the weight of it (it's a little bit heavier) other than that there's no complaints.

Going from using a cheap 120bucks cordless vacuum to this, it was a huge upgrade and the amount of stuff it sucks up was so great that i was disgusted to live in such dirty place. love this thing, will always stay dyson customer now

I’ve been eyeing for this for quite sometime and got this for a really good price. Works well and cleans my carpet really. I don’t advice this to be used on engineered wood floors coz of the stiff bristles but really does a goos job on medium height carpet.

Prior to assembling this I vacuumed the carpet with my old vac after allowing pet hair to build up during the shipping period and the floor looked clean and the dirt canister was full. Once assembled I ran this over the carpet a couple times and it pulled out just as much embedded hair and dirt as the other pulled off the surface. That was impressive. Overall I am happy with this purchase and use it weekly at minimum. Cons: Wand hose is a little stiff to use easily and effectively, maybe it needs a break in period longer than I’ve been using it. Can only store a couple attachments on the vac, the rest are at the mercy of your own organizational skills. Pet hair makes for frequent cleaning of the canister which is a chore to me as I feel like I’m going to break it everytime I have to open it up. The plastic is just weird. It looks durable but while separating the pieces it doesn’t feel durable. I thought it was uncloggable and would never lose suction, the husband using it for the first time busted that myth. Not sure how he did it but it took me a good while to clear it and get it working again. So far that hasn’t happened again.

This is the first Dyson vacuum I’ve owned and so far I am very impressed. My carpets haven’t looked this good in a long time. They may cost more than the competitors but it is well worth it. Got mine on a “Deal of the Day” special so saved a lot of money too! Highly recommend!

Dyson doesn't sell their stuff cheap, but if you can find this on sale it gets closer to being a decent value. Five year warranty and good build quality should make this a good long term investment. Vacuum performance outstanding - I wish the extension pole could be telescopic so it would be easier to use floor cleaning tools.

Dyson Big Ball Upright is hands down the best vacuum I have owned. However, its heavy and not easy to maneuver if you have to go up and down the stairs with it. Worth buying though especially if there are kids or pets in the house, leading to constantly having to keep up with their mess.

Overall this is the best vac I have owned. However it got four stars because the hose unit is not easy to deal with when you want to use the small attachments. Suction is fantastic, but the floor piece is very low to the floor so if it finds say a small chunk of toast that has fallen off the table it will push it around unless you tilt the vac up to get it.

It’s a dyson and I love all dyson products. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is this is a heavy unit. I have a 15 year old dyson that still works great just wanted to upgrade. My older dyson is so much lighter. Normally it is the newer products that are lighter.
