    It is a bit mind boggling to how a $400 fan of this quality has so many 5 star reviews. I seriously believe that I must have a defective unit. The fan itself is incredibly weak. The settings on the fan are numeric ranging from 1-10. However each number more or less signifies how many feet away from the fan you can feel the air movement. If I stand 6-10 feet away from the fan at the highest setting you can barely feel it. I have done tests by simply hanging string in front of the fan and the drop off is insane. I can literally blow air out of my mouth harder than this fan at the highest setting. The air purifier only cleans air in a 2-3 sq foot radius of the fan. Again this is akin to the fan not being able to move air well. If it can't expel air well, it cannot take in air effectively either. Lastly, the fan has a serious noise issue. Within less than a week of using the fan it has a loud rattling sound from the motor making me believe my unit is defective. However, even at the strongest setting, it is obtrusively loud. I cannot believe anyone would rate this thing well. Please avoid, Dyson makes many other great products but fans are not one of them. Look up reviews on YouTube and you will see I am not alone in this.

    Not pleased with the state of the box when the fan was finally delivered. Looked like it was thrown from a truck. Fan, however, is the most awesome fan I have ever owned. Best Buy not much help correcting their deluvery errors.
