I recently got the Dyson purifier cool gen1 TP10 purifying fan, and I have to express my satisfaction with its performance. This product arrives in an exceptionally premium package, and upon unboxing, I was pleasantly surprised to find it pre-assembled and ready for use. All that was required of me was to remove the plastic covering the fan and remote, making the setup process incredibly hassle-free. Upon switching on the purifier, I immediately noticed that the live air quality monitor displayed an almost yellow indicator. However, after running for just 30 minutes, the air quality had noticeably improved, reaching a low green level. This was particularly impressive, especially considering that my living room is quite spacious, covering an area of approximately 20x18 feet. Intrigued by its performance, I decided to test the purifier in a larger game room. To my amazement, in just 20 minutes with the fan set to level 9, the air quality transitioned from medium green to low green. It's not merely an excellent purifier; it also operates as a powerful fan that is entirely safe to use, allowing you to insert your hand through the center without any safety concerns. Great for families with small kids. In our house, we love our Dyson vacuums (both corded and cordless) and our Dyson hair dryer. We also love our Blueair air purifiers that I've purchased for most of the rooms in our house. As a family we've invested heavily in reliable air purifiers to make sure everyone in the house can breath well with our pets (2 cats, 2 dogs) but have really found them great now that we've had major wild fire air quality problems two years running. Given how much we like our other Dyson products I was excited for the Purifier Cool Gen1. It is a great purifier, and what I really like is that it oscillates and fans while it purifies so that you can really cycle air faster. It comes with a remote and while it asks you to setup the Dyson app as you open the box, it is NOT a smart device. I've liked my Blueair Blue Pure 311i Max that has a similar sq ft rating and is half the price of the Dyson because it does give me air quality history for review on my phone: see the historical air quality is important to me so it was frustrating not to have that feature. The LCD screen provides lots of details regarding function but I foundmyself missing the simple color coded LED light that instantly told me the rough quality of air (white, blue, yellow, orange red) Perhaps the biggest issue with it however is that the form factor and overall lightweight make it very tippy: it stands roughly 4 feet tall and weighs peanuts, so even the cats have the ability to knock it over when they're running through the house in the middle of the night. Ultimately this is a great looking air purifier with great HEPA level filtration, nice LCD screen, great oscillating functionality to fan with purified air and an intuitive remote control. Like many things Dyson, the cost is a huge factor and in this particular case I think there are competing products (Blueair!) that also look great, perform well and for a fraction of the Dyson cost.

I am big fan of Dyson due to the quality, design, and reliability products. I was looking to buy the air purifier from Dyson and Dyson - Purifier Cool Gen1 TP10. It came with Dyson Purifier Cool Gen1 TP10, Glass HEPA+Carbon filter, Remote Control and Owner's Manual. The design looks stunning and blended very well in our living room. Setup is very easy by removing the purifier from the box and connect to the power. I have downloaded the MyDyson and app and added the purifier by entering the serial number from bottom the device. MyDyson is app has very limited features and it is just to register the device and there is no option to control the purifier other than using the remote. With Air Multiplier technology, the air will be circulated throughout the room and project 76 gallons of air per second throughout the room. It oscillates up to 350 degrees with increment of 45, 90, 180. With preset run time, it is easy to program to turn off after pre-set intervals of 1, 2,4 and 8 hours. With Night mode, it monitors and purifies with the quiet settings as well as dimmed display to avoid any distraction. It covers up to 800 square feet and has Air quality indicator light with color display. It comes with Fully sealed to HEPA H13 filter. With Built-in three sensors, it senses and reports air quality, automatically. With the combination filter with a HEPA layer captures dust, pollen, ultrafine particles, and allergens, while an activated carbon layer removes gases and odors. I have been using this purifier and getting pure air and it runs very quiet even with high fan mode. It comes with 2-year manufacturer warranty and excellent addition to the home to get pure air.

So this fan is just “good”. I can’t give it 5 stars for a couple reasons. First is the remote. For a 300$ fan I very much expect a better remote included. It’s small, overly simply, but still just a plain plastic case that feels average quality at best. The first of two things that really let down is that the remote is IR and must be directly pointed at a very small and specific receiver in the center if the fan. Not practical for a fan that oscillates The second letdown is the remote is not backlit. It’s white buttons on the same color plastic case with very lightly marked identifiers. Impossible to see unless there is a significant (and direct) light source. Again, not practical for a product that’s used in the evening, overnight, or early morning. There are good reasons to buy the fan. It’s still 4 stars. It has a very good brand name with the quality and customer service associated to said brand. It has a very cool design. It’s a statement when you walk into a room and see how good looking it is as a part of your decor. And finally, it works really well as its intended purpose as a fan. It pushes air very well. While a little loud at higher speeds, it can easily move air around a 15” square bedroom, and is better than a large ceiling fan in this regard. Of note, it can oscillate up to 350 degrees, which is an excellent in a warm room.

I've owned a Dyson fan before that lasted until I hit it while vacuuming. It damaged the oscillation feature but it still works great. I bought this version and love it shows the air quality. For the value, the newer fan runs great! It is quiet, yet gives amazing wind flow. I like it cleans the air and even has a auto mode. Yes the price is high, however you are getting the Bentley instead of a Taurus. Both will get you a good breeze, but the quality is far greater.

This fan is extremely good. Quiet, sleek appearance. Has a remote control. It has a purifier, which makes it smell clean and fresh. You can rotate between 45° and 90°.

Very quiet and Effective air circulation. Filter needs to be changed every 6 months or so but is very easy. The cartridge model was not all that clear to identify though.

This air cleaner works great and quietly surrounds you with cool, clean air.

I had high hopes for this Dyson TP10 and it did not disappoint. It provides nice cool air and I really like that it oscillates. I am very happy that it is not super load even on high. It is so efficient. It does a great job purifying the air. I am almost always hot and I have a lot of allergies and this Dyson TP10 has helped with both of those issues so much. I am so glad I spent the extra money for this fan/air purifier.

This is just what I needed, it filters the air, cools the air, and lets me know the air quality in my home. It is a beautiful shape and looks like a piece of art in my room. I also appreciate that it is easy to use and understand. And, the remote attaches to the unit so I* never have to worry about losing it.

Ignore the reviews about fan strength, they likely forgot to take the plastic off or forgot the remote. It's exactly what you'd expect from Dyson. We had the older model and updated to this one with the purifier. Works great, no notes, appreciate the sensor on the phone that displays pollutant volume.
