Pricey but stylish and certainly safer and easier to clean than other fans.

The air in our condo can get really stuffy and we do not have AC. Even on days when the temps get into the 90's, this fan definitely helps to keep the heat at bay. Worth the cost, yes, but its still really expensive.

Even blackout shades didn't solve the heat. Too much glass surface, too much Florida sun. This fan is like having an air conditioner in that room and best of all? It's silent. Expensive, but worth it.

Haven't had the chance to put it to the test in very hot weather yet. But so far, it works well. It is quiet enough at the lower settings and is much better looking than your traditional fan. One thing I was disappointed in was that it doesn't offer the focused air flow like the Hot + Cool AM09. This could be a deal breaker for me.

I can only have it on for a short while before it does this. Very dissapointing for the high price for this fan.
