I am a huge dyson fam and finally caved in to buy the flat iron. As many reviews state, it’s on the heavier side which doesn’t bother me. It also warms up extremely fast but then doesn’t cool off as quick. The charge doesn’t last long at all!! Thankfully I only need it for a few strands. The plug to keep on so you can continue to use it does not stay on so it’s useless. I do feel however and see the iron is much gentler on my hair.

Worth every penny! It is ready in seconds! It took my styling time from an hour or more to 25 minutes! It's easy to curl with also! I do wish the cord would stay pulled in when using it while charging. I love that it is cordless, easy to throw in an over night bag for touch ups the next day without bringing the cord. The 30 minute charge hold is pretty accurate and I recommend charging it after every use. It's a bummer when it is dead! Absolutely in love with it!

Got this cause it’s a Dyson and I have All Dyson hair tools. It does work great but not sure it holds up to the Dyson hype of why it’s better then all the others out there. Because you can use it cordless (charge only lasts 30 minutes tho) it is a little heavy. In my opinion tho it’s a little pricey.

Great for styling - both to straighten and curl your hair. Cordless makes it really handy - you can use it in front of any mirror regardless of where. It heats up really fast - just a matter of seconds, which makes it really quick & efficient. Only con is it is a little (just a little for me cuz I usually finish in 5-10 mins) heavy. Its price is on the high end but worth the money if you're looking for a travel-friendly & cordless hair straightener + curler.

I was hesitant to purchase because of the price, but already having the hairdryer and seeing the change in my hair, I decided to do it. I am SO thankful! Since using it , I have absolutely no dry ends and my hair is silky and healthy. I know people have complained about the charge life, but it is only a problem if you have really thick hair or if you aren’t comfortable using the actual plug. I highly recommend.

Hard to justify the price for what you get. Its an excellent product, the cordless aspect is amazing (depends how thick your hair is and style) - you could get 3 uses from a charge or 3/4. But it straightens amazingly with less heat, you can add amazing curls, and again the cordless aspect is prob the best feature. It is a bit heavy though and probably a 100 overpriced still, but a great product.

I've had this for a little under 2 months and I am still torn. The 1st one that was delivered was broken (the prongs that allow you to take this on a plane were bent), but Best Buy replaced it - hassle free. Pros - heats up quickly, heat consistency, has copper, flexible plates for less damage, cordless* Cons - a tad expensive, does pull your hair sometimes (I find that if I hold the end of my hair, there is less pulling, but why should I have to do that?), the cordless feature is great, but the battery life - not so much. I would say I have fine, wavy hair and I need to plug it in towards the beginning of my last section. I hope to see less damage to my hair after using this, but it's too soon to tell. I like the cordless feature. I don’t like how heavy the unit is. The straightening process overall hasn’t been smooth, but I’m hoping things will improve as soon as I get used to the unit.

My wife loves how the cordless function of this straighter but it does have its flaws. Pros- Cordless, great quality, doesn’t feel cheap. Cons- Heavy, Bulky and short battery life. Note: It comes with a cord and can be used while charging.

This was my favorite until just recently. It wouldn't hold charge. I had it on the charging stating all night and when inwouod go use it it would die within seconds...i was very sad because i really liked it!

Beaitiful. Have had since last Xamas runs like new everyday! Expensive but I will use this forever

Writing this on behalf of my wife. This is an excellent iron, heats quickly enough and seems to do a better job as compared to the ones I have used in the past. The best feature is that it is cordless. Now I can do my hair while riding shotgun...

Best hot air product I’ve ever invested beside the Dyson hair dryer. While the flat iron is quite heavy, it’s very sleek aesthetically and even on the lowest setting (at 330 degrees) still turns my curly frizz prone long hair into one long smooth straight glamorous mane of lockd

I bought this for my wife about a year and a half ago. It no longer works. Luckily, I purchased the protection plan and we were able to send it back for a replacement. Obviously, I didn’t use it, but here are some thoughts from my wife: It does not get very hot, the battery depleted fast, and ultimately stopped holding a chrarge (which is why we sent it back). It was VERY CONVENIENT to take on out of town trips, nice size and weight, and the wireless aspect was amazing! If it wasn’t for the protection plan, my wife wouldn’t have bothered getting another Dyson.

my new favorite dyson product! heats very quickly, and the cordless feature is awesome for someone that travels frequently. my hair looks great after using it, quickly straightens and leaves my hair shiny and full, not flat like my previous straightener (i used a chi)

Pretty great flat iron, just don't plan on relying on the battery for anything more than just not having a cord hanging while using. The battery has such a short life. I can't even do my whole head on a full charge. I have to set it on the cradle between sections, and even then, it doesn't gain much charge in the 30-60 seconds its sitting there, so I am sometimes barely getting done before it gives out. Its great for touch ups tho, although it is large and heavy, so its not something I'd throw in my bag for a night out so I could touch up on the go. For travel, its great because you can pull the pin for the plane and no worries of it turning on accidentally. But then we come back to the battery issue. You have to take the cord if you are planning on using it for more than a minute or two each day or you're only going to be gone one night, but trying to use it with the cord attached is a headache. Because its a magnet, it disconnects easily. It also adds more weight, which adds more arm fatigue. Its not as great at their videos portray. I have thick, course, curly long hair. With a normal $200+ flat iron, I can run it over a section twice and its good to go. Not this one, its 3, 4 or 5 times. The end result is fabulous, but this is not a time saver. I have worn my hair straight for about 10-11 years, flat irons are not a new concept for me, and I've tried at least a dozen or more in that time. If you are wanting this because you like Dyson, or the colors or something along those lines, then go for it, but if you're looking for "the best" this is not the straightener I would recommend.

Professional quality. Great styling tool with auto charging adaptor and ease of use without cord, when charged. Have several Dyson hair products and vacuums…always pleased with performance. Can’t go wrong with this hair straightening wand!

I am very pleased with this purchase. It does a great job straightening my naturally curly hair. Beautiful, heats very quickly, cordless. Expensive compared to other tools. Is it worth it? I like dyson products, so for me, probably.

I love this hair straightener, it leaves my hair very soft and does not damage it, I bought it two years ago and so far I have not had any problems, very easy to handle
