Like the fact that this is cordless - easy to use. It’s kind of heavy for long use. What I don’t like is that it could very easily be confiscated by TSA. There is a way to disengage the battery with an attached “clip”, but how many TSA agents will know that without telling you that you can’t fly with it and will have to discard it. I’m not willing to try and travel with it…. Way too expensive to just toss at security. If you’re only going to use it at home, and you want cordless, go for it… but it’s pricey.

Works great. Fast heat up time. Straightens hair fabulously but that price is absolutely filthy. CEO of making irrational purchases when I’m sad and this is a prime example of the damage I’m capable of. Great straightener but such a pretentious price tag. Biggest complaint is if you try to use the straightener when it isn’t charged your out of luck because the plug flies off after the slightest movement.

Best flat iron out there. You do have to watch it for the sides. Sometimes they melt but gosh! My hair stop having split ends since I got this product 2 years ago.

It’s super easy to use. I like the cordless feature. And it takes literally 3 seconds to heat up to your selected temperature. It’s a true one pass straightener and worth the investment!

Dyson products are always amazing but this straighter is on another level! The fact that it’s cordless is amazing what’s up quickly and is super easy to use and handle

Great flatiron. Quick to turn on and reach temperature. Easy on the hair. Wireless battery does not last long but charges very quickly.

Price point is a little high but it's a Dyson so it's expected. Heats up fast and you can use it both cordless or corded.

Only tool I want to use now, my hair dells do much better and it’s so fast

best hair straightener ever!! I don't regret it. I have been searching and comparing different straightener, and it has been the best decision i ever made. I can even bring it on plane with me as long as the airplane mode is turned on. There is no problem carrying with you anywhere. the only downside would be the battery duration. I usually charge every 3 days, but considering that the quality and quick to heat up in 20 seconds, i have no problem charging it every 3 days.

The product itself is great, but I just don’t feel like it worth the price tag

Bought this Dyson straightener for her birthday last year and it’s still her favorite one!!

I love everything I have bought by Dyson. However this falls a little short for me! I love the idea of cordless. However this is slightly bulky and doesn’t straighten my hair as well as my corded flat iron. Also there are only three heat settings. My corded flat iron has many more temps to choose from!

This was a splurge for me but I’m pleased and decided to keep it. It heats up quickly and I like not dealing with a cord during styling. Some people indicated that they felt it pulled out their hair but I didn’t experience that and my hair is very curly. I am able to style my hair with this without blow drying first which saves a lot of time.

I own the Supersonic Hair Dryer and the Airwrap and I love them both dearly. Having owned each one for 2 years, I can tell that my hair health has dramatically improved, so when this came out I wanted it, but was a little apprehensive about purchasing. I am not one to straighten my hair on the regular just because I am afraid of damaging it. I do however use a flat iron daily on my fringe bangs because I have three cowlicks in that area that can only be tamed with heat. When I received my Corrale, I was impressed by how sturdy it felt in my hands. I did get a touch of nervousness about how bulbous it was knowing that I was going to be using it daily on my bangs and it would be super close to my forehead. My previous flat iron got very hot on the end, so I expected this to do the same. Not the case. The end gets warm but I can touch it without burning myself. When I first used it on my bangs, it did a great job of not making them look too flat. I was impressed by how well it styled my bangs, so I went ahead and used it on the rest of my hair. I was surprised at how much I loved the look. My previous flat iron game me stick straight, flat hair. The Corrale straightened and still left me with some body. I have also had issues in the past when flat irons would snag my hair. This hasn’t happened with the Corrale. A week after owning this, my power went out for two days. I had a meeting and was a little desperate to make sure my hair looked decent. I suddenly remembered the Corrale was fully charged. I was able to style my hair quickly and the 30 minute charge allowed me to style my medium length hair for two days until my power was restored. Over all I love it on the same level I love my other two Dyson hair tools. My hair feels soft and looks shiny after I use it. I also didn’t think I would really care too much about it being cordless but I thoroughly enjoy that aspect of it. My Corrale is definitely much higher quality than any flat iron I have previously owned. I absolutely love it!

I have been experimenting with this new Dyson hair straightener for quite a few months . I have used directly after a blow dry and I have used it days later, on dry, non washed hair for touch ups. At first, I was curious about how it would work compared to the other, pricey straighteners that are already in my collection. I didn't think it could do any better. But I am very pleasantly surprised. First of all, it is absolutely faster. Absolutely. I have very thick hair and it usually takes about 30 to 45 minutes to straighten, in sections. With the Dyson it took about 15 minutes. A touch up days later, even sectioning the hair, took less than ten minutes. Could have done it in five minutes easily. I didn't think I'd care about the cordless feature but I realize it's what's been missing all my life. I swear that half the time in straightening my hair is continually moving the cord around the vanity. Now I can even move around a bit, answer my kids' questions while straightening, etc. It holds its charge very well and charges back up in a half hour or so. I put it on the cradle to charge when I step into the shower. Perfect. It feels comfy in the hand. I usually stop to shake my hands out from discomfort while styling as I have arthritis. Don't have to do that here as the product has a nice weight and balance to it. Lastly, I've noticed that other straighteners make a stick straight, plastered to the head look. This Dyson straightener, however, gives hair a more "blown straight" look that feels a bit more "today" and modern. I am very pleased and will continue to use the straightener regularly. It's great.

I bought this as a gift for my wife and it was the best decision i ever made the portable feature is a beast

Overall, I love it. The fact that it’s cordless is amazing. No cord getting twisted and tangled is a nice touch. My hair also didn’t get so hot that I can’t touch it. I really only had to go over the hair sections once bs 2 or 3 with my other flat iron. The only drawback I have is that it is heavy. If you can get used to the weight, you will like it. I have the hair dryer and I’m used to Dyson being a bit heavier.

I have long, thick curly hair that straightens relatively easily. I like to use flat irons to smooth and curl my hair. I received the Prussian Blue/copper colorway for Christmas, and I’ve hardly used it for the following problems: 1. Bad battery life. The unit doesn’t stay charged long enough to complete styling on my entire head. It will last less than 30 minutes on a charge and does not charge while plugged in but in use. 2. It pulls and snaps my hair! I noticed it does not smoothly glide through my hair on first use, but gave it multiple tries, then I noticed breakage at my hairline which has not happened with other irons. This negates the whole point of using this product that is supposed to be less damaging. It is not! 3. The iron is unwieldy and heavy. I’m not a novice, but I found this flat iron to be hard to maneuver and it left ugly lines and creases in my hair. It’s not nearly as easy to use as a much cheaper iron I have had for nearly a decade. 4. It doesn’t smooth as well as other irons. I find I needed multiple passes to straighten, which just wastes time. I’ve tried it on all heat settings and this is true even on the highest. The reason I’m writing this scathing review now though is for what is shown in the photo: 5. Quality is bad: the finish on my unit has started to flake off, bubble, and peel! The paint flaked right into my eye! It’s hard to see on the iron, but you can see all the paint chips that came off. This happened recently when I decided to give it another try. Totally unacceptable. How is a $400 product this bad and poorly made? I’ve used the iron about a dozen times, and the paint flakes off? How? This would have been an instant return for 1-4 if not for the fact it was a gift from my husband. 5. puts it over the edge for me and I hope you will listen to me before wasting your money on this product! I own the Dyson hair dryer and it is amazing and well worth the investment, I typically love Dyson generally. This product is NOT good and not at all worth the high cost. At this price point, the Dyson Corrale needs to be nearly perfect and it is far from it. RUN. I’ve returned to using my much cheaper flat iron. DO NOT BUY THIS.
