Cordless is a nice feature, but it makes the tool heavy and bulky. The battery also doesn't hold out long enough for me to do my entire head. I feel like the temperature isn't accurate. Maybe that's why it's "better" for your hair. Ultimately, I returned this item for a full refund.

This thing is amazing and my wife loves it.it heats up very quick and gets the job done!

I’m African American and my hair has never felt silker. I also love how fast it heats up and that it’s cordless. This flatiron is truly beautiful. The only thing that I still have to do the chase method. One more con is that it does snag your hair from time to time. Maybe with more practice that won’t happen.

I have never been in love with a hair straightener before. It straightens my hair very fast and holds its charge. I even wake up the next morning with straight hair! USUALLY I HAVE AWFUL bed head! It leaves my hair straight and smooth. I absolutely love it. It glides so smooth on my hair and after I touch my hair and it doesnt burn my hand compared to a regular hot iron. I'm so happy I'm done spending so much trying to find a hair straightener. It makes me feel so pretty and confident.

If you have a lot of hair (either long or thick) that is very curly, expect yourself to feel a bit rushed if you are opting for wireless use. The battery only lasts about 20 or so minutes. Even if you put the straightener back on the charging mount while you are straightening your hair, it will not charge fast enough to keep up. It may extend the use by about 5 mins or so. The straightener uses up energy faster than it can charge itself. So, if you use the straightener with the wire connected to it so it is charging the battery while you are using it...it will extend the use time to about 35-40mins. That is usually how long it takes me to straighten my hair without feeling rushed. But, it will eventually run out of charge. So if it takes you like 45-60mins to straighten your hair...do not buy this! You will not be able to straighten your hair in one go! You will have to put it back to charge for at least 10-20mins to get in just a few more minutes of straightening. Aside from the battery issue...the product works great! My hair feels healthy. The way the ridges are used to help your hair glide through the plates really prevents any hair from getting caught, stretched, or snagged while straightening it. It is great, I love it!! Highly recommend if you are not worried about battery life!

I had applied to Best Buy precisely to get this Dyson Straightener. I loved how nice and delicate arrived. I didn't even wanted to open the box. I read all instructions and put it to use. The straightener definitely does it's job. Unfortunately I have carpal tunnel and the straighter was a bit heavier and ended up returning. But definitely recommend. My hair was very straight and soft, not burned like others.

It's good love the way it leaves my hair better than other straighteners i had my only problem with this is the the 30 minute time it gives cordless really wish it gave more. My hair is short but i have a lot and its thick i don't get to finish my hair in time and have to pause to charge it

The battery is really what is the most disappointing. It’s heavy too. Does a solid job but for the price I thought it be mind blowing. It’s an extremely over priced flat iron. We have an $80 one that does the same job but definitely doesn’t look as pretty.

Best product ever we used and easy to style my hair

Amazing performance! The cord free feature is awesome for safety (I have two small children that dont want to leave me alone :) ) and it works just as good or better that my BioIonic Onepass. Plus it heats up/cools off way faster. Probably less than 20sec for initial heating and less than 10sec to change temperature (up or down!) not disappointed at all (especially since I got it for 20% off)

This is amazinggggg. People complain about the battery but it states it will last 30 mins. It take me 1.5 hours to do my hair and the trick is putting it back on the charging stand after every pass. I am African American and My hair came out just as good if not better than the salon. So glad I got it on sale now to wait for the air wrap to go on sale. I love the dryer as well.

It is good item to have on the go it works great but the battery does not last long. If I had a try out first I would have not spend the money but now that I do just gotta me the best of it.

Super quick heat up amd charge. I really like the design, especially for my curly hair. I do wish you could get slightly closer to the scalp because the plates are tucked in, but i haven't burned myself so take from that what you will. I mostly use this to curl my hair and it looks amazing. I love that its cordless. Less time moving around with a cord.
