Yes, having a cordless iron is awesome. About the only thing that impresses me with this iron. Besides that I would compare it to any other good $150-200 iron. Final thought, it's overpriced. Oh and, Dyson, make it lighter!

The idea is great but not a breakthrough product like the Dyson hair dryer or the styling blower set - we have all three now. The Hair Straightener is big and that shortcoming is balanced out by being cord-free. It does a good job. But the bulk and price should give you pause.

Nice product. It’s really cool that you can use it without a cord, and the stand that comes with it looks cute too. It’s a little heavy though, so this could be an issue if you have a thick hair and if you use it for long periods.

I am just starting to enjoy this straightener but so far it has been wonderful. I love that it charges on the stand and I do not have to plug it in in the bathroom. It heats up quick and without the cord I can move around as necessary to another bathroom or the large hall mirror. The price requires a substantial investment but I am seeing so far that it will be worth it.

4 stars for its awesomeness, 1 star deducted for the very high price! cordless beauty. Very powerful, does the job well and its great to display and carry in your bag. The only con really is the high price. But then again, when was a Dyson product cheap? you get what you pay for!

I love this straightener. I was skeptical because I have the air wrap and that was disappointing but the straightener stepped it up. My hair is not super hot afterwards, no smoke, no pulling effect like my chi. I straightened half of my hair and curled the other half in 6-7 minutes. The straightener is heavier than I expected but the cordless nature makes it worth it.

Beautiful packaging. I bought it with the Dyson hair dryer and using them together makes my hair soft smooth shiny and the closest thing to a salon finish that I've ever achieved myself. I've noticed flyaway hairs and split ends are not a problem as much as they were with my Revlon or Chi dryers and flat irons. And they have cut the time down a lot too. But I had to go online to watch a video to figure out how to use the charger and what the buttons/lights mean. It would be nice if Dyson just printed that in their instructions. I'm not sure what the weird comb is for (although it does get the tangles out of towel dried hair) and the brush is a nice extra but not sure why that is included with the flattener. Best thing is once I use this, my hair stays straight, shiny and smooth til I wash it again, even after 4-5 days of sleeping and sweaty outdoor hiking with my hair in a ponytail pulled through the back opening of a baseball-style cap. Worst thing is, it's too cumbersome to travel with, because of the charging dock and heavy cord, it would take up half my carry on luggage. (Ha I can't even figure out how to fit it back in the nice carrying case that is included.)

It is expansive item but it is work it,and love it.easy to use.

Good and bad on this Dyson straighter. Good: wireless, easy to carry, smooth heat plate. Come with wide tooth comb and a soft bristle large brush and a carry pouch. Cons: heavier than wired straighter. 430 degrees last less than 30 mins. Advertising 70 mins use time, I guess it’s under the lowest temp setting.

To be honest I’m still tryin to figure this out . One thing for sure it straightens fast but I don’t understand why it didn’t filly charge or the light change to green

Love that it's cordless but it does need charged every 2 days. Would like to be able to select any temperature rather than 3 predetermined. Not sure yet how much better it will be for my hair but so far I am happy with my purchase.

Like everyone else says it is a bit heavy to work with. The unit I got only last 30 minutes on the highest heat setting on a full charge. (Tested multiple times over several weeks.) Which meant i only got about 2/3 done straightening my hair. And forget trying to use it while plugged in. The magnetic charging cable is so delicate it falls off easily and when it manages to stay connected it constantly shuts on and of from losing connection. If you have short hair and like expensive things to look at on your vanity get this. If you hair is medium or longer I suggest looking elsewhere as i am no doing. Still no luck finding a great straightener.

This is a good Wireless Hair Straightener, not 5 star it was because a little pricey + little heavy ( My wife Said ) other than that this is the best.

Yes, it was expensive. But wife loves it and that's what matters. Can't give it 5 starts because it's still way over-priced for what it is. Also, the battery life should be longer. But for short hair, there's plenty of time.

It heats up fast and works quickly to straighten hair. The screen is nice to see the temp. The battery life could be better and the airplane pins in the packaging damage the finish. Happened to 2 devices so watch out for that.
