Love the Dyson line. I have ine upstairs as well as downstairs. Works justbad good if not better then the animal.

I saw a display set up at local store and tried the different models they had. This model was by far the most powerful of the lot. I ended up getting the middle package,(purple) because I didn’t think I would need the one additional attachment you get with the copper colored model. The lower model(red) had a little less power. It was also easy to open up and empty, very lightweight, especially compared to my old canister. I needed something to replace my 25+ year old canister vacuum. looking to not have to buy another for another 25 :)

I am extremely glad I purchased this vacuum, I'm actually still excited every time I have to use it! This battery life depends on which of the 3 power settings you use. I generally run it on low and medium which gives me about 40 minutes of cleaning time. On high--which I rarely need to use except to get kitty litter out of the litter mat--it lasts for about 15 minutes. The only issue I had at first was the weight of the upper part of the unit. You have to press the power button the entire time you run the vacuum (which feels natural once you get used to it). At first I thought the handle (which includes the dust bin) was a bit heavy. But I got used to it really quickly and it's no longer a problem. I have a 1500 square foot house. It is mostly hardwood with one room that is carpeted. The dust bin will usually hold enough dirt for me to vacuum the whole house once before emptying (unless I'm delinquent on my housework -- then I may need to empty once during the cleaning). The vacuum comes with a mounting station that you can attach to the wall. I haven't done this yet but the instructions look clear and simple. Overall this machine is great! I am thrilled with the purchase. Vacuuming doesn't feel like such a chore when I don't have to deal with that pesky cord!

I've owned many Dyson vacuums before. The V10 engine is definetly a refined machine. It runs really smooth and powerful. The three suction levels are nice. When set on the highest level, it is really strong, I usually keep it on medium and that works well. I'm using it in a three bedroom condo with two kids and it is more than adequate. Also, emptying the vacuum is really easy and effective, you just open the end and slide out the dirt. With Dyson, you pay more but get what you pay for.

This is our second Dyson and we love it. Never thought a cordless vacuum could be so powerful.

I had been looking for a lightweight vacuum for awhile but was hoping to find one that was still corded. I was worried about the run time. I’ve used this numerous times and it has never run out of power on me. It is so light and easy to use that when I first got it I thought there had to be something wrong with it, because it didn’t feel like it was picking anything up, so I used the highest setting more than I probably needed to! I do wish it was able to stand on its own, even for storage. I would also like to add that Dyson customer service is excellent. When I went to use it for the first time, the battery pack wasn’t holding a charge. They were quick to get a replacement out to me and make the process painless.

I purchased this on Black Friday and used it that afternoon after charging. It works exceptionally well on low pile carpet, hardwood floors and tile floors. I do not have heavy carpeting but imagine it works equally well. The attachments allow you to clean in many areas as well. The vacuum is light, flexible and can get into many areas such as under furniture. I am very happy with this purchase.

This vacuum is excellent. We had the V8 model before and this is a noticeable difference; in a good way. There is the more expensive version of the V10, but in my opinion, this is the better deal. This is also compatible with the older attachments that come with the older models, except the V6 and earlier. Although there is an adapter you can buy to use even those older versions.

So far the vacuum has proven to be a great value purchase. Much improved over the Shark that it replaced

Worth every penny!! I wasn’t sure if I wanted this or the next model up but this one does plenty for an average home!! Honestly if you have a dog or pets with a lot of hair then this Dyson will do the job! It’s so easy to use i get a good clean in every time i use it. It charges fast and its so easy to empty! It’s so much better than lugging out the big vacuum just for tiny messes!

We purchased this to augment our Roomba to vacuum our area rugs on a weekly basis. The Roomba is great but doesn’t get all the pet hair. We have four dogs, two golden doodles, one corgi and one schnauzer. It works amazing. The other thing we really like about it is the way the bin empties. It is much improved over our older Dyson stick vacuum. I would not recommend this for a fully carpeted house, but for hardwoods with large area rugs it is great.
