Customers often highlight the Cyclone V10 Animal Pro's impressive suction, ease of use, and long battery life as key strengths. Many appreciate its lightweight design and powerful performance, along with the multiple attachments included. However, some users mention the small dustbin requiring frequent emptying and the relatively high price point as drawbacks. A few also noted minor concerns about the wall mount and trigger mechanism.

This vacuum is 100% better than all of the cordless/stick vacuums I've owned. I've always been a fan of Dyson but often times have chosen other options due to the price. However, everything about this vacuum is well worth the money. The battery life is excellent and the battery power indicator is very helpful. It has different power levels which is very helpful depending on the cleanup needed. All of the attachments are very easy to use and efficient. I like that it comes with a docking station, although I wish it held all of the attachments instead of just a couple. I read previous reviews about the trigger being a little tiresome to hold down the whole time, but I got used to it--that as well as the size of the canister. I highly recommend this vacuum.

I wish I would have bought one of these years ago. It super easy to use. Works excellent! We have 2 dogs that shed hair like crazy and 3 girls with long hair. This vacuum sucks it all up with easy. The suction is so good that on medium power I can see it pulling hair in from inches away. The battery last long-enough that I can do almost our whole 1800sqft house on one charge. We have about 75% wood-look tile floors. It does work great on carpets too. Easy to empty was well. I would definitely recommend. I purchased mine on the deal of the deal. Great price!

First battery vacuum. Before this V10; owned a corded small animal ball. Which was good but short lasting. Close to warranty limits. So after some home repairs extended a little bit and finally got this battery V10. Which really is best performing in all situations; basically hard ceramic floor and some few individual floor mat. So different head systems useful for each purpose; the additional small for sofa excellent for vacuuming this upholstery furniture; although in this regards little hard in my opinion getting more fiber from upholstery than dirty; more adjustments could be useful.
As always and previous vacuum After warranty period some parts suffer and decay performance. The more important in my opinion red trigger for on/off. This should be last as the complete product life so needed to replace or repair as chosen and out of Dyson Chanel because of the limited and lack of practical support getting this solution.
Finally I took both option getting reinforced new part from internet Chanel and repaired my broken trigger and got working again my machine. Little knowledge in Plastic industry help. Now looking to improve wear parts in hard floor head; and get as new performance. Nice little machines and technology DC and small components. Targeting to last 10 years.
At least just before of warranty period Ingot the same trigger issue and got valid this warranty

This little beast makes the task of vacuuming so much easier. I have it mounted on the wall in my office so access is quick and easy. No digging the vacuum out of the closet. The cordless feature is great. No unwinding/rewinding and plugging/unplugging a cumbersome cord. Just pull it off the wall mounted charging dock and it's ready to go to work.
As far as actual performance, it's perfect for my smaller home. I do the carpet on the medium setting with the powered beater/brush bar and bare floors on the low setting with the powered soft roller. For extra powerful suction, there is a high setting that is stronger than any other vacuum I have ever had ... Electrolux, Shark, Dirt Devil, Bissell, and Panasonic are a few of my previous vacuum manufacturers. Granted, you can only use it at that setting for 10 minutes but when you're actually working, you can get a lot done in 10 minutes.
The powered soft roller is perfect for bare floors. It sweeps as it vacuums and leaves nothing behind. No hair, no dust, no crumbs. It cleans the surface perfectly.
The powered beater/brush bar does a great job on low to medium pile carpets and rugs. It picks everything up very well but it doesn't do much for "grooming" the carpet to make it look brushed.
Either attachment has an awesome pivoting feature that makes it very easily maneuverable. Although, ripping around the house like a race track does put a little pressure on your index finger you use to hold the power trigger. There is kind of a trigger guard and it rubs on the side of your trigger finger rather uncomfortably. That needs a little more research and development considering the price of this vacuum.
I would not have bought this at full price but the sale price was too good to pass up for the features, performance, and ease of used of this vacuum.

This light weight but powerful cordless vacuum is just what the doctor ordered. Powerful cleaning heads and brush accessories are included to tackle any messy job. Works like a charm on both carpeted surfaces and smooth tile or wood. The dirt cup is easy to dump and suction booster switch helps to muscle through any mess. The machine holds a charge for an extended time and piercing vacuum noise levels are lower than expected. I love it.

By far the best Vacuum I have used. At first it seems very costly, but once it is in your hands, every penny is worth it. Super easy to use, charge, store, change the heads etc.
Vacuum itself is powerful with a super flexible head design. It is not loud at all and light on hands while using.
Only thing I wish is the tangled hair on the brush head get pulled up. Five stars anyways!

This Vacuum has a great suction power better than any corded vacuum I have used before. I have been using shark vacuuming and this Dyson is much better by miles and it is only battery powered. I usually put on the middle setting and gives about 30 mins of operation. The only con is you have to keep your finger on the trigger for it work. This vacuum is light and is easy to use and has a hook that you mount to the wall.

Reluctantly purchased this for my wife. Guys, NEVER BUY APPLIANCES FOR YOUR WIFE! I got tired of vacuuming the stairs because our regular ball Dyson vacuum is too heavy for her. I guess, you can say, I bought this for me, but my wife uses it all the time.
Great battery, very powerful, so light weight, and easy to use. The only negative thing I can say, is the dust chamber fill quickly.

We have wood floors, a big cow skin rug, and four dogs. We gotta sweep up every single day, maybe a few times a day, just to keep up. So I like that this thing is light. Switching attachments isn't too difficult.
We had the V6 before. Still have it... I'll probably take that over to the RV. The V10 is quieter, and stronger, and the battery does last a lot longer.

I've had this for about a month. I upgraded from a Dyson that is around 5-6 years old.
It's a neat system and is kinda funny that Dyson effectively killed their older, corded product lines with this. The only thing you really need is an outlet nearby where you plan to charge. It comes with a holster that will hold the power adapter and the cord is roughly 4-5' in length giving you enough room to hang it at a comfortable height.
Things that I have noticed so far, is that the power is substantially greater than my previous model. Because I'm weird, I did a run through a room with my old vacuum, and then followed up with the new 1. Maybe it was age, maybe the tech has improved that much, maybe a combo of the 2, but it was disgusting how much more dust this new 1 picked up AFTER already having cleaned the room not 5 minutes earlier. The battery will last about an hour before it needs to recharge. If you live in a large house that takes more than this to clean, be prepared for a few hour break while it recharges.
The hardwood head works well for pulling dust off the tile and wood floors. I still have to go back and mop, but I no longer have to break out the broom and dustpan.
The rest of the attachments are pretty standard fare and work as intended for their jobs.

Great cordless stick vacuum

Very powerful cordless stick vacuum that comes with all the attachments you need to clean your home and car. It’s lightweight and surprisingly quiet. We have a four cats, one of the cats is scared of everything, and a little dog that barks too much. The vacuum is quiet enough that the dog doesn’t bark when we use it and none of the cats run away. In fact I can vacuum right next to the cats sleeping on the sofa. I have to move them to finish the job.
Most importantly the vacuum works great. I have a 10 year old Dyson canister vacuum that I thought was still working good and only bought this cordless stick vacuum as a quick use option for small jobs and furniture. Turns out the cordless stick vacuum is more powerful than my old canister and much easier to maneuver so now I only use the stick vacuum. It states it has an hour run time on the battery. I haven’t used it for a whole hour yet but I’ve been able to finish all vacuum jobs without running out of juice.
Also, I got a good Black Friday sale of $200 off due to the release of the newer model which only adds a feature I didn’t need.
Overall a great product. Should have switched to it sooner.

Our little Tony Soprano sheds more than we care for. We live in a tiny apartment and it can be quite a chore to clean up his hair and dander especially after a few days. We bought this after giving it a few thoughts and loved the lightweight design and cordless action. It destroys the shark upright we had. After the 1st use, we noticed the extra dander and hair the shark missed after vacuuming with it the day before. We were shocked and amazed and promptly sent the shark to goodwill. The apartment smells better, and we love using the dyson whenever we need to use the machine. The only thing is the battery life, you have to be aware of how much you use and charge it. All in all still a great investment.

I needed a lightweight cordless vacuum , this vacuum has exceeded my expectations. It works as well as my upright bagless vacuum and has all of the attachments I could possibly need. The max suction drains the battery within 7 minutes at full charge but the medium suction setting lasts a long time and is powerful enough for most jobs.

I love the freedom that NO CORDS offers. I find myself vacuuming more and it's strangely satisfying to empty the canister and see how much dust and cat hair I've cleaned from our floors and carpets.
This lightweight stick vacuums does an even better job than my upright, heavy, expensive vacuum.
My only complaint is that to remove the stick part in order to dump out the dirt canister, it was REALLY hard to get off...unlike all the other parts that easily slide on and off. I finally had the idea after struggling each time with this to add a little WD-40 to the attachment area and that seems to be working well.

This is my first Dyson. Its definately worth for cleaning and picking up small debris from hardwood floor and carpet. Works really well on carpet. I like that you can control the level of power, low, med and boost, which helps on not raising the small carpets.
The different attachments are a game changer since the actual machine is battery powered and can be used anywhere. I used it to clean an old school fan and it picked up the dust bunnies pretty well.
I used it to pick up rice from the kids dropping rice while eating and it worked well with sticky rice. My only complain is the battery power, once you put it on boost, its only works for about 12-16 min. On low power it will go on for about 20-30 min.
