...until now!!! While only having this vacuum for less than a full month, I have used it any number of times. This is because after using it the first time, I found that my old vacuum had been doing a horrible job, leaving dust and dirt buried deep in the carpet. The suction on this thing is amazing! No question that my carpeting is clean now! I appreciate the fact that this vacuum is relatively light and easily maneuverable as well as having tools that are simple to change and a canister that is quick and easy to empty. This machine is worth every penny and should last for a very long time if my sister's Dyson is any indication. The Animal Pro is well worth the extra $30 given that is has a couple of tools that the $399.99 model doesn't. I have no reservations in recommending this vacuum.

Best vacuum I have ever owned hands down! Thing is lightweight and so powerful! Love the ability to clean my whole house at once without having to plug in and also have the tools to clean all kinds of things as well. If you are thinking about getting one do it!

I have never had a vacuum cleaner like the Dyson V 10 Animal Pro Stick. I have never been good with puzzles so I was very concerned about putting the vacuum together. The hardest part was unpacking all of the incredible attachments. The vacuum is light weight and very easy to maneuver all over my house. I purchased this model because it came with a soft floor attachment for hardwood floors. This model comes with an attachment to clean blinds, plantation shutters and the ledge about the doors. Okay ~ I did have one problem and that was figuring out how to empty the bin. I googled it and watched a very short video and it opened right away. I highly recommend this vacuum and especially for older people that have problems pushing a heavy vacuum. I promise that you will love this model and hats off to Dyson and to Best Buy. Best Buy made it easy to purchase and a nice young man put it in my trunk.

This is the most expensive vacuum i’ve ever had. But its totally worth it. Its lightweight, easy to empty, and actually picks everything up off of our hardwood floor thanks to the floor attachment. It’s easy to maneuver and handle, is by far the best vacuum I have owned.

Quality vacuum and easy to use. Attachments work great for multiple cleaning areas all around the house and even for cleaning my vehicle. Light weight and easy to bring up and down stairs. Also really enjoy the wall mount that comes with the vacuum.

This vacuum is really impressive. It has great suction and the battery lasts a surprisingly long time. It was easy to set up and mounting the charging dock was a breeze. The only downside is there aren't enough places to mount the accessories. Other than that, it's perfect!

The Dyson system lives up to its reputation. It is light, highly maneuverable, and has strong suction. The battery life is impressive, and the attachments make it ideal for all manner of home, car and garage cleaning. A superb value!

This vacuum is really great. It is light and easy to use. It cleans all surfaces easily and does an excellent job with pet hair. The strength of the battery is also good and you can do an entire home without charging. I really love this machine.

Recently had to get rid of my Shark Navigator vacuum and was looking for a good replacement. I purchased another shark stick vacuum (with cord) but it was too heavy, awkward at the top while using and of course the cord was always annoying. I decided to make the investment and get this one to compare. I used it once and I LOVE this vacuum. The trigger on and off is very handy, tons of attachments it came with and the docking station for the wall. I have hard wood floors and carpet with two dogs and constantly have large fur balls. This vacuum has no problem getting them quickly and the large dust bin makes it convenient. I would definitely recommend buying this vacuum if you are a pet owner or anyone wanting a easy yet solid clean for their house.

This machine is a powerful small vacuum. It's amazing to see the amount of debris this small vacuum collects. It is a bit pricey, but worth it. The only con I have with it is the wall charging unit. It appears to be flimsy. The design makes the vacuum hang out from the wall while charging too far. It takes up too much space!

We've had this vac for about a month now and it is awesome! We kept buying the cheap vacuums only to be disappointed by performance and/or failure. Finally decided to pull the trigger and spend some $ on this. So glad we did. Sometimes, you really do get what you pay for. Yes, it is expensive, however, it is very well designed and constructed. Lots of attachments to compliment the device that are all very useful. We live full time in our RV and don't have much space to store a big sweeper, so, this is perfect. Love the way we can just pick it up at any time to tidy up, which we now find we do 2 to 3 times a day as we have a Husky/Malamute mix dog who sheds ALOT! Highly recommend this vacuum!

I saved points towards this until I had almost $200 then waited for it to go on sale at $429. I did a lot of research while I was saving the points. I purchased a used refurbished V6 on eBay, it was my first cordless and I couldn’t Believe how well it worked. I always thought the Dyson was overpriced and hyped up, it’s not. The maintenance on this is almost 0. I love the design. I went with the pro so I could have of the floor attachment & the rug. I priced it out buying the cheaper model and the attachment later for the floor and it was cheaper to buy the upgraded model. Even a used floor attachment sells for $80. I was looking at the V8, V10, & V11. In the end it came down to the V11 or the V10. I went with the V10 for two reasons, the charge time is much less then both the V8 and the V11, and the V11 does not offer the hardwood floor brush. At first I didn’t think it would make a big difference not to have that but I have mostly hardwood and laminate with just area rugs, and one room with carpeting, this floor attachment is amazing. It gets everything, all the pet hair and we have 5 animals. We have a German Sheppard, husky-border collie mix, 2 calico cats, and one Maine Coon cat. I do wish the battery lasted longer but most times I am good with it. I don’t know why they don’t make a battery that snaps out easily so that you can have a back up charged battery. The battery is held him by a couple of screws and is easy enough to swap out as I did it with the one I bought off of eBay, but it is not easy enough that you could charge to so that you would have double the time. I’m assuming they’re doing that for environmental reasons it would be nice if you could have a back up. Anyhow I am 100% happy with this purchase. I doubt I will ever buy another brand. Not having a cord is so much easier and faster. The suction on this on low is really good enough I only use high on the carpet where the cat room is. I did not want the digital display, I would rather have buttons. I think longevity will be better without the digital display. It’s just an opinion, I just work with electronics and I prefer to manually switch it. There are some very good comparison videos online; one compared all 3 and really helped me make my choice. I also love the new design of the dustbin. The one thing I did not like about the older model was the dust bin is small & hard to empty. It got clogged with pet hair often. The V10’s dust bin is much larger and you just shoot it into the trash. If it gets anything in the upper part I just turn it to high, run it for ten seconds and it’s all set. I don’t mind that you have to take the stick off. I can’t wait to clean my car with it! I do not hate vacuuming anymore!

This is our third Dyson Animal vacuum. (All three are still working great - we just decided we wanted one for each floor of our house.) This is our first "stick" vacuum, and it really delivers. Relatively light, easy to carry around the house and even up and down stairs. It picks up dog hair very well. Our dog (beagle) has white hair and sheds a lot, and we have some dark area rugs. This vacuum very easily leaves the rugs looking brand new in one run-through. The clear basin makes it easy to see how much dirt/debris you're picking up (satisfying to me) and makes it easy to know when you need to empty it. The charge lasts 2-3 uses. This thing is incredible and worth the price.

This Vacuum is hands down the best vacuum, I love because first its wireless so I don't have to worry about finding an outlet and also its light and so easy to vacuum. Worth the money!

I absolutely love this cordless vacuum. It picks up cat hair well. I use it daily sometimes twice a day. It's the perfect tool and a necessity especially having three cats. Quick and easy to use although it takes a bit getting use too as far as not pressing the trigger when picking it up and emptying the dirt cup. Handle could be a bit larger. I did have a problem releasing the wand from the unit, it was stuck. I called Dyson customer service and they sent me another wand. It worked well for awhile then happened again. This time Dyson sent me a new top base. So far so good. I would have rated this a 5 but didn't because of the wand getting stuck. It moves and turns well and fit under almost all my furniture. I had been eyeing it for awhile and finally made a move when it was $150.00 for for Black Friday week. It's very lightweight 5+lbs which can be carried to different levels of your home with ease.

Excellent lightweight cordless vacuum with a lot of suction. Easy to use and move around. Does an excellent job picking up dog hair. Only issues are the trade offs associated with cordless vacuums, battery life and emptying the canister. Battery life is an hour as advertised. The canister needs to be emptied fairly regularly, especially in places where the dog lies on a rug. Excellent cordless vacuum that isn't cheap but I would absolutely buy again.

Great vacuum. Lots of power. Lightweight. No cord is more than a plus! I am vacuuming a lot more now because of ease in doing so. I complete the vacuuming even before the charge runs out.

Works great even on carpet strong suction and easy to use especially if u have small kids that often makes a mess just get it real quick no plugs in no wire no kids unplugging ..deff worth it

We got this as we need a strong vacuum as one of our kids has asthma and this is THE VACUUM, Easy to use, agile and it has enough power to really clean all the dust. Outstanding product!

If you own pets then I highly recommend this product! It picks up dirt that you didn't even know was lurking in your carpets. I don't have carpeting but an area rug in my foyer and after vacuuming with the Dyson Animal Pro it looks brand new. The fact that it's cordless and has such suction power is amazing. Sturdy yet light weight. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the bin could have been larger....you do have to empty it often. Then again I do have more than one cat and quite a few rooms that I vacuum...three floors! The attachments are easy to remove and switch and the fact that it becomes a hand held is wonderful. I particularly like the soft roller head attachment. It's perfect for hardwood floors and frankly any non carpeted area. Dyson products may be a bit pricey and that's why I've been hesitant in purchasing one but I'm sure glad I did! It's worth every penny!
