In an 700 Sq room, the only way I felt "cooler" was with the fan speed to the max, I just couldn't stand the fan noice at that speed. The filtering system is truly where the magic is, but for an Air Purifier the cost of this unit is not worth it.

Posted .Hi Carlos, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson Pure Cool DP04 air purifiers, will feature two airflow modes, a fan mode and a backward airflow mode for cooling and purifying both in winter and summer. These two modes, along with the airflow setting ranging from 1 - 10, and an adjustable oscillation angle from 45 degrees to 350 degrees, helps project purified air around the whole room.
Our Purifiers & fans do not have Freon, so they are not an air conditioner, but it does work better than standard fans. Dyson fans use Air Multiplier technology to create a powerful stream of uninterrupted airflow. Air is accelerated through an annular aperture, creating a high-velocity jet of air. This passes over an air foil-shaped ramp, channeling its direction and creating areas of low pressure behind and around the fan. The change in pressure forces surrounding air to be drawn into the airflow, resulting in a powerful stream of smooth cooling air.
